Please be aware that Maybole Medical Practice will be CLOSED on the following dates for the bank holiday weekend:

Friday 3rd April 2026
Monday 6th April 2026

During this time, if you require URGENT medical advice or care, please contact NHS 111 who can direct you to the most appropriate out-of-hours service.

🚨 In a medical emergency, always dial 999.

We will reopen as normal after the bank holiday.

Please be patient with our admin team while they work to book you with the most appropriate clinician at the right time.

For minor illnesses and self-care advice, please remember that your local pharmacy can often help, and you can also visit NHS Inform for guidance.

📢 Important Patient Notice ‼️Tuesday 24 March 2026‼️

On Tuesday 24/03/2026 we will be running a reduced service while we carry out an essential upgrade to our digital patient system to improve the quality and reliability of our services.

During this time:
•We cannot take advance appointment bookings
•Access to patient records will be limited
• Repeat prescriptions cannot be processed on this day, so please make sure you have enough medication in advance.

Our team will still be available for urgent and essential care.

Please contact the surgery as usual if you need medical advice.

A reminder of afternoon closure tomorrow.

Some GP Practices will be closed on Wednesday 18th February, Tuesday 24th February & Thursday 26th of February to carry out staff training. During these times the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service will provide urgent care and support to patients of practices which are closed.

Patients or Community Pharmacies who require to contact a participating GP Practice urgently during the time they are closed for Protected Learning Time should call the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930.

After 9 wonderful years at Maybole, the time has come for Dr Martin to hang up his stethoscope 🩺

Dr Martins last working day will be 6th March 2026.

I feel incredibly lucky to have worked alongside such amazing colleagues and to have cared for so many lovely patients over the years.

Thank you for the kindness, chats, laughs and trust you’ve given me — it’s meant more than you know.

While I’m looking forward to the next chapter (and a slower alarm clock!), I will truly miss being part of this community.
