🧘🏼‍♀️ There are several myths circulating about the ‘perfect posture’! REMEMBER every person has their own unique posture, this is dependent on their anatomy and build. Your spine has its natural curvature, trying to constantly correct this can lead to strains. The best thing for supporting your posture is to strengthen your core, and mobilise your spine.

🤔 Have you heard people talk about muscle knots?

🪢 A muscle knot is not what it says on the tin! It is in fact where part of a muscle fibre is continuously contracted, resulting in the stop of blood flow. This then starves the tissue of oxygen and nutrients, whilst preventing toxins from leaving. Therefore causing pain, spasm and tension.

🫵 Are you recovering from an injury or surgery, and finding land based exercises too painful or difficult? Then aquatherapy is for you!

🐬 Formerly known as hydrotherapy, aquatic physiotherapy in water (34 degrees) helps muscles relax, reduces the load through your joints and can either be used to support and aid movement, or restistance to make movement more difficult.

🏊🏼‍♀️ We offer 121 sessions, and therapist led group sessions for you to complete your prescribed exercises.

⚠️ Please note these sessions are for MSK conditions, unfortunately we do not have the relevant equipment to accommodate for higher needs. We do require clients to be safe on stairs, as there are shallow steps to get in and out of the pool.

📍We have use of a private pool in Bighton, a 10 minute drive from our clinic!
