This morning we were delighted to welcome some of the children from Snapdragons Nursery. They filled the home with Christmas cheer, singing lovely festive songs and bringing along homemade mince pies and beautifully crafted Christmas cards for our residents. ❤️🎄

This afternoon it was time for Mavern Melodies Christmas carols, and we even had a surprise visit from a blow-up Santa (aka Jo!), bringing plenty of laughs and smiles all round! 🎅😂

A wonderful day full of joy, music and community spirit. 💛

✨ A Wonderful Day at Mavern House! ✨

What a lovely outing we had today at Whitehall, admiring all the beautiful Christmas decorations — the lights, displays and festive cheer really got us into the Christmas spirit! 🎄✨

Back at the home, we rounded off the afternoon with a few lively games of bingo, lots of laughs and plenty of friendly competition. 🎉

✨🎄 A Festive Day at Mavern House! 🎄✨

This morning Jean enjoyed a lovely visit to the church for their annual Christmas tree decorating. The trees looked beautiful, and it was a wonderful way to start the festive season. ❤️🌟

This afternoon it was all about cheese, wine and cider! Our residents took part in a delicious tasting session, followed by a fun and friendly cheese & wine quiz. Lots of laughter, plenty of guesses, and a whole lot of festive cheer! 🧀🍷🍏🎉

No Mavern Melodies today, but that certainly didn’t stop us from having a good old sing-song — karaoke style! 🎤✨

Over in Pathways Lounge it was all about the baking, as we rolled up our sleeves and made some delicious homemade biscuits. The smells coming from the kitchen were heavenly, and the smiles even sweeter! 🍪💛

✨🎄 Lots of elves on the loose bringing Christmas cheer to Mavern House today! 🎄✨

This afternoon, some of our residents enjoyed a lovely trip to Whitehall Garden Centre, taking in all the magical Christmas lights and beautiful decorations — a perfect way to get into the festive spirit. 🌟🎅

Meanwhile, back at Mavern, the fun continued with a few lively rounds of target throw, with some of our cheeky elf pictures as the targets! Plenty of laughs and friendly competition all around. 🎯🧝‍♂️

🎄✂️ A Festive Afternoon at Mavern House! ✂️🎄

This afternoon our residents got creative making beautiful paper Christmas wreaths — full of colour, sparkle and plenty of Christmas cheer! Everyone’s designs came out wonderfully and we can’t wait to hang them up around the home. 💚❤️

We also squeezed in a fun game of pong, with lots of laughs and friendly competition… and a big well-done to Sylvia, who took the win! 🏆👏
