Just to let you know that starting at 12:00pm (noon) on the 13th November 2025, club members will be playing a 24-hour Bowl-a-Thon for Children in Need through to Friday 14th 12:00pm.

The event will be opened by Anne Davies from BBC East Midlands today with other local officials and guests expected to join us over the 24 hours.

We also have a song which someone has kindly written to celebrate the event called “Bowls of Hope”.

This coming Thursday is also our twice monthly community coffee, from 10:00am and we would be delighted to see you if you are able to join us.

As always everyone is welcome, to join us for a chat over a free cuppa and biscuits.

If you are unable to attend, the next Coffee Morning will be on Thursday 20th November 2025.

'TALK WITH ME' - FREE 5-WEEK COURSE AT MELTON LIBRARY FROM GOLEARN
GoLearn Leicestershire is offering a free 5-week Family Learning Course to support the development of speaking and listening skills for children aged about 2-4 years (younger brothers and sisters welcome).
Each session will include lots of singing, top tips for talking with your young child, talking activities, story time and free resources to take home.

• Time - 1.15 - 2.30pm
• Venue - Melton Library (Adult Learning Centre)
