We had a very special patient in the practice today…

The Easter Bunny!

Initially a little nervous, the Easter Bunny soon enjoyed their visit to us. They had a full dental check-up, a Hygienist appointment and we provided plenty of aftercare instructions on brushing techniques etc.

We would just like to let you know our Easter opening hours and arrangements…

We will be closed from Good Friday (3rd April) until Easter Monday (6th April) and will reopen as usual on Tuesday 7th April.

If you have a dental emergency outside of these hours please
call 111 to be directed to your nearest emergency dental centre.

We are delighted to announce that Mere Dentistry was found to have met the high standards required by a recent CQC inspection.

Lasting a full day, the inspection was completed on January 15th 2026 by a CQC inspector and the lead dental advisor to the CQC.

The CQC (Care Quality Commission) is the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England, including NHS and private dental practices. They ensure legal, high-quality and safe standards are met by inspecting, monitoring and rating practices based on five key areas:

🦷Well-led

Mere Dentistry was found to have met the regulations on each of these main aspects.

Following the inspection, to celebrate all the fantastic hard work by the team, Waheed took everyone out to our local The Brush & Broom Restaurant at Hillbrush for a celebratory lunch that was enjoyed by all.

Waheed, Jo and James would like to thank all of our amazing hardworking team, who continue to ensure that the best possible patient care is given in a practice that keeps everyone safe.

We love welcoming our youngest patients to Mere Dentistry and helping them to develop and maintain optimum oral health for years to come.

We recommend regular dental examinations for children (usually twice a year) as they are growing and teeth are always changing at this young stage.

We do our best to immediately put children at ease and make their appointments as fun, relaxed and stress-free as possible.

We’re here to support your little ones and to help ensure they establish a healthy routine early on.
