PROTECTED LEARNING TIME:
Protected Learning Time (PLT) for GP Practices
Everyone within GP Practices are committed to giving patients the best possible care and as part of this, GP Practices may take part in a number of PLT sessions throughout the year which allows them to carry out staff training for the whole practice team.
GP Practices within South Lincoln Healthcare have chosen to participate in Protected Learning Time (PLT) training on Wednesday 12th November.
This means that the Practice will close its doors at 1pm and phone lines at 12:30pm. The practice will open as normal at 3.30pm Wednesday 12th November.
Information on how to access advice from a GP will be made available on our telephone message and notices on the practice doors.
Information on the next PLT session will be posted nearer the time.

🌧️ Rain or Shine, We Walk! 🚶‍♀️🌿

Even though the weather was wet and dismal, we didn’t let it stop us from getting out on a local walk in Metheringham — and we felt all the better for it!
Fresh air, good company, and gentle movement really do wonders for our wellbeing. 💚

As an Active Practice, we’re proud to support ways to keep our community healthy and connected — and that includes taking part in local walks like these.

👟 Metheringham Wellbeing Walks – run by Lincolnshire Co-op – are free, friendly, and open to everyone. Whether you want to get moving, meet new people, or just enjoy some time outdoors, come and join in!

Friends and Family Test – July Results

The results for the Friends and Family Test for July are in – apologies for the delay in sharing them.

We’ve seen a slight dip compared to previous months, so we’ll be reviewing the feedback to understand why and to identify areas where we can improve.

For your awareness - sent to us from Lincolnshire ICB:

We have been made aware of a scam occurring in Sutton on Sea. Yesterday, patients reported that a female in a nurse’s uniform was door knocking, stating they work for St Barnabas and collecting money for a monthly lottery.

This has been reported to the Police by St Barnabas, however, please ask patients to remain vigilant.
