🌟 Happy International Women’s Day! 🌟

At Kineton Surgery, we are immensely grateful for the incredible team of women who make up the backbone of our practice.

For many years, I've been the only male amidst this wonderful group of supportive and dedicated individuals.

On this special day, I extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of them for their unwavering support, commitment, compassion, and expertise.

Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed, and truly privileged to have you as part of our team.

Update on COVID Vaccinations 7 Days Later

Dear patients

I thought to share some statistics from how our surgery is performing 1 week down the line.

The vaccination centers use an IT system called Pinnacle to record and notify GP surgeries of who has been vaccinated, which takes 48 hours to reach the surgery.
We have done some number crunching on our excel spreadsheets using last Fridays notifications

I am pleased to say, as of Last Friday Night - 7 days after starting,

11% of the Eligible Population of KIneton and Tysoe Surgeries have had their first dose of the COVID Vaccine

80% of our aged over 80 population have had their Vaccine

I think this a fantastic achievement by the staff, volunteers and South Warwickshire GP federation who are delivering the service.

They have started to now invite our group 3 and 4 patients.

We are pleased to inform you that the local Clinical Commissioning Group has confirmed plans for the delivery of Covid-19 for our the WePCN patients.

These will be delivered by the South Warwickshire GP Federation and will begin in the week commencing 11th January 2021 and be in Southam.

Patients will be invited for their vaccine directly, so please do not contact the individual Surgeries.

These invitations will be based on the priority groupings set out by the Government, meaning that the over 80s and those in care homes will receive the vaccinations first.

For more information about the priority groups please check this link
