Children’s Mental Health Week celebrates the amazing work schools do to help every child feel supported and valued. 💛

Our School Colour Runs are a fantastic way to keep that positive momentum going long after the week ends.

By combining physical activity, celebration and a wellbeing-focused assembly, our Colour Runs give pupils a joyful, shared experience that supports positive mental health — while raising vital funds for local services.

As you mark Children’s Mental Health Week, why not plan something exciting for later in the school year? They’re perfect as an end-of-term celebration, a post-SATs treat, or as part of Sports Week.

Get in touch to secure your Colour Run today!

💛 Children’s Mental Health Week 💛

This week, Teesside Mind is proud to support Children’s Mental Health Week, focusing on the national theme “This is My Place.”

Feeling a sense of belonging is vital for children and young people’s mental health. When a child feels safe, accepted and understood, it can help them feel more confident, resilient and able to cope with life’s challenges. But we also know that for many young people across Teesside, finding that sense of belonging isn’t always easy.

At Teesside Mind, we work alongside children, young people and families to provide a safe, supportive space where they can be heard without judgement. This week is about reminding young people that their voice matters, their feelings are valid, and they deserve places where they feel they belong — in school, at home and in their community. 💙

🎨 Every feeling has a voice 💬

This artwork was created by one of our young people, using colour and creativity to show different emotions — happiness, worry, calm, confusion, and everything in between.

At Be Heard, we support children and young people to understand what they’re feeling and talk about it in a way that works for them. You don’t need to have the right words — drawing, creating, or just chatting are all ways to be heard.

If things feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to explain, support is available.
