Middlesbrough council Consultation on youth services

We want all children and young people in Middlesbrough to be happy, safe, and healthy.

We commission (pay for) a range of youth services to help young people with:

education and learning
getting a job
mental health
fun things to do on evenings and weekends
And now we want to know what you think!

Our current youth services will end in March 2027, so we need to commission new services before then. And we want to make sure that those services are the best they can be.

So we want to hear from young people, parents and carers, and professionals. Take our survey and tell us what's important to you, and what you think about current youth services in Middlesbrough.

All surveys close on 13 March 2026.

Your feedback will help us to commission services which give young people the help and support they need.

🎆 Please attend an organised firework display this year!

🚒 Every year, Cleveland Fire Brigade crews work incredibly hard during this busy time – attending a local display means fewer emergency call-outs and more time keeping everyone safe.

👉 Organised displays are safer, family-friendly, and help reduce the risk of injuries and accidental fires.

❤️ Thank you for helping us keep Teesside safer and stronger!
