Great to be back at the ACE Conference this weekend speaking on one of my favourite topics- integrating Skinvive into everyday clinical practice.

Skin quality has become one of the most important conversations we’re having with patients. Increasingly, people want results that look natural, refreshed and healthy rather than obvious or overdone.

During the session we explored how Skinvive by Juvéderm fits into that shift, improving skin hydration and smoothness while complementing other treatments we already use in clinic.

For me, the real value comes when treatments are integrated thoughtfully: understanding when to treat structure, when to stimulate collagen, and when the skin itself needs attention.

Really looking forward to being part of the Aesthetics Mentoring Programme at ACE 2026 as one of the mentors in the “Grow Your Business” session on Friday 13 March, 13:00–14:30. The session is designed around helping practitioners with business growth, brand-building and expanding their client base in aesthetic practice. 

As much as I value speaking on stages, teaching and sharing experience within our specialty, mentoring has always felt especially important to me. We all start somewhere, and I still remember what it feels like to be earlier in the journey — trying to improve clinically, make good decisions, build confidence and work out how to grow in the right way.

One of the most meaningful parts of being in this profession is being able to give back. If I can help make someone else’s path a little clearer, a little more confident, or a little less overwhelming, that matters. Over the last 14 years I’ve built one of the most successful clinics in the North of England, and this is your chance to get some 1-1 guidance.

ACE’s mentoring programme is built to create exactly those kinds of conversations — giving mentees direct access to experienced professionals for tailored guidance in a small-group setting.

A little post-digital detox 📵

You may have noticed I’ve been a bit quieter on here lately — and that’s been intentional.

January has been one of the busiest months we’ve ever had in clinic, and sometimes the most important place for me to be isn’t on a screen… it’s in the treatment room, with my patients, and also focussing on my own self development.

As aesthetic doctors, there’s a subtle pressure to constantly post, share, and stay visible. But real impact happens offline — in consultations, in safe practice, in results, and in patient care.

We are a husband and wife team and have recently created D.R.S. Medispa which is a purpose built state of the art clinic in the heart of Linthorpe, Middlesbrough.

I am a part time local GP and set out on my journey in cosmetic medicine 9 years ago. Since then it has been an incredible journey with most recently being selected as 1 of 4 Dr’s across the UK to join a Global mentorship programme with the world renown plastic surgeon Dr Mauricio De Maio. I am one of the UK’s Juvederm experts which involves teaching and training other Dr’s and nurses from around the country. I am proud to be the only expert Dr in the North of England selected for the Global mentorship programme sitting among some of the UK’s & now worlds top cosmetic experts.

We pride ourselves on offering a truly confidential, bespoke, discrete service. Natural but striking treatments are our trademark and we always maintain natural results. We understand that having any cosmetic treatment can be daunting, however our expertise and attention to detail to ensure that we can do everything possible to help you achieve your goals in a safe and sophisticated manner.
