“Visualise happy thoughts, breathe deep, and go to your happy place.” ✨

Life gets loud, messy, and overwhelming—but we always have a quiet space within us. When things feel too much, pause. Close your eyes. Inhale deeply. Fill your mind with images that bring you peace, joy, and happiness.

Your “happy place” doesn’t have to be far away—it can be a memory, a dream, a feeling, or simply a moment of calm you create for yourself.

Why not try this when you go to bed tonight. Choose to guide your mind towards positivity. Enjoy a moment of stillness.

Day 4 of the Stress Less Challenge - Focus more on the things you can control.

How often do you find yourself worrying about the things you can't control? You might worry about what people think of you, what that exam paper might look like next week, the weather, the past....the list goes on. The thing is, these are all things you have no control over. The only thing you CAN control is yourself, including your thoughts, actions, and reactions. You can also control your effort, attitudes, and choices. You cannot control external events, other people's behaviour, etc but you can control how you respond to these things.

There's always going to be people in this world that might not like you...so what! There are plenty of other people that do. You can't control what they think so let them be them and you be you.

You can't control whether it's going to rain on that fun day you had planned with the kids, but you can control how you deal with it if it does.....wellies, coats and hats on and let the kids splash in the puddles...make it fun.

So take a moment to really think about how you can take back control and comment below to help share with others 👇🏻

Day 3 of the Stress Less Challenge -

➡️ What’s coming is better than what’s gone.

We all have a past made up of good things and not so good things. Ruminating and dwelling on the past can only take away today's happiness. It's called the past for a reason....its gone...done. Sometimes life asks us to release what’s behind, so we can make room for what’s ahead. Every closed door, every ending, every goodbye is just guiding you towards something greater.

The people who left made space. The doors that closed cleared your path. And the moments that broke you — built you.

Keep going and make the choice to focus on making What’s coming is better than what’s gone.

Day 2 of the Stress Less Challenge

"Most of the things we worry about won't happen".

This is something I work a lot around with my clients. I explain that our minds are incredible storytellers.
We play entire movies in our heads. Movies about all the things that could happen, that could go wrong — scenes that can leave us filled with dread and anxiety. We imagine the worst, over and over again, until our heart races, our stomach churns, and our body reacts as if it’s all real.

But here’s the truth.....
None of it has actually happened.
It’s just a story — a movie playing on repeat in our mind. This causes our bodies to respond to these anxious thoughts. It feels the fear, the stress, the tension… all from something that only exists in our imagination.

Here's a little fact: Studies show that about 85% to 91% of things people worry about never happen. Of the worries that do occur, roughly 79% are not as bad as we think they are going to be.

So, next time your mind starts playing that movie take a moment to breathe and then press pause. Remind yourself that it isnt real.

Choose peace over panic.
Trust that whatever comes, you’ll handle it — just like you always have. 💛

DAY 1 of the Stress Less Challenge 💜

We all have dreams we say we’ll start “one day.”. We all say "One day I’ll chase that dream". "One day I’ll change my habits". "One day I’ll take that leap". Every dream starts with a decision. You can keep waiting for the perfect time, or you can decide that today is the day you start. Because the truth is, there’s no perfect moment. The right time is the moment YOU decide to begin. I have been guilty of this many times....In the past I used to always put things off. It never seemed to be the right time to take the leap or i felt scared to jump out of my comfort zone. Now, however I have a completely different attitude. I realise that the day you take that first step — that’s the day everything begins to change. I’ve learned that there’s never a perfect time, perfect plan, or perfect feeling, just a choice. And that choice can turn one day into day one. There’s only the moment you decide that today is the day to start.

It doesn’t have to be a big move. You don't have to have it all figured out...just believe in yourself. Stop waiting for the right time. Stop doubting your readiness. Start today — even if it’s small, even if it’s messy, even if you feel scared.
