✨ World Storytelling Day at The Gables ✨

We had a wonderful time celebrating World Storytelling Day with the lovely children from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School 📚💛

The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and imagination as stories were shared between generations. Our residents loved listening to the children read and reminiscing about their own favourite stories from years gone by.

Moments like these are so special, bringing young and old together to connect, learn, and create lasting memories 💫

A big thank you to St Joseph’s for visiting us – we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 😊

Our amazing Head Housekeeper brought a little bit of Ireland to The Gables today! ☘️

While keeping the home sparkling clean, she was singing away and even doing an Irish jig as she worked. It certainly put smiles on everyone’s faces and gave us all a good laugh.

It’s moments like these that make life at The Gables so special – a happy home filled with music, laughter, and wonderful staff. 💚

A Lovely Musical Moment at The Gables 🎶

One of our lovely ladies here at The Gables, who was born in Waterford, Ireland, treated us to a beautiful rendition of the classic Irish song “Molly Malone.” 🇮🇪

It was such a special moment listening to her sing a song from her homeland. Music has a wonderful way of bringing back memories and sharing stories from our past, and today it brought a little piece of Ireland into our home.

There were smiles all around and even a few of us joining in with the famous chorus! 🎵

“Alive, alive-oh…”

Fabulous afternoon at The Gables! 🎤✨

The amazing Joanna from Charm Productions UK entertained everyone with classic hits from Nancy Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Diana Ross, Elvis Presley .

There was lots of singing along, clapping, and smiles all round. A wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all our residents! 🎶💛

Pamper Day at The Gables 💅✨

Today we enjoyed a lovely pamper day here at The Gables! Pat had a fresh perm at the hairdressers and our wonderful ladies had their hair styled by deputy sue.The afternoon continued with relaxing hand massages and beautifully painted nails.

There were lots of smiles, laughter and a little bit of sparkle – a perfect way to spend the day! 💗
