🥞 Pancake Day Fun at The Gables Care Home! 🥞

Today at The Gables Care Home, we flipped into fun celebrating Pancake Day! 🎉

Residents enjoyed freshly made pancakes with a variety of delicious toppings – from classic lemon & sugar to strawberries, chocolate sauce and syrup 🍓🍫🍋

There were lots of smiles, laughter and even a few pancake flipping attempts! It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and sharing memories of Pancake Days gone by.

A big thank you to our amazing kitchen team for making it such a sweet treat for us all ❤️

🌙✨ Twilight Sensory Session at The Gables Care Home today theme was love ,we transformed our lounge into a calming twilight space filled with soft lighting, gentle music, soothing scents and sensory experiences. 💜

Residents relaxed under twinkling lights, enjoying hand massages, textured fabrics, calming aromas and peaceful sounds – creating a beautiful atmosphere of comfort and wellbeing.

These sessions are a wonderful way to support relaxation, reduce anxiety and promote meaningful moments of connection. 🕯️🌌

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful day filled with laughter, sweet treats and special moments with friends and staff. Heartfelt conversations and smiles all around, it was a day to remember.

Today Steph , our amazing Manager, treated our residents to a lovely sing-along! 🎶

There were smiles all round, plenty of toe tapping, and even a few residents joining in with the words 💜

It’s moments like these that make The Gables such a special place to live and work. Thank you Stef for bringing the joy and making everyone’s day that little bit brighter 🌟

🎸 National Guitar Day at The Gables 🎶

We celebrated National Guitar Day in style as our very own Kev, our amazing maintenance man, picked up his bass guitar and gave us a fantastic live session!

Residents and staff sang along, clapped, and even had a little dance — the room was filled with music, laughter and lots of smiles 😊

A huge thank you to Kev for sharing his talent with us. Who knew our maintenance man was also a rock star? ⭐🎸
