PLEASE SHARE: We are extremely busy today, treating a high number of people in our A&E at James Cook Hospital.

Help us keep A&E for genuine emergencies such as:

1. Signs of a heart attack: chest pain, pressure, heaviness, tightness or squeezing across the chest

2. Signs of a stroke: face dropping on one side, cannot hold both arms up, difficulty speaking

3. Sudden confusion: cannot be sure of own name or age

4. Su***de attempt: by taking something or self-harming

5. Severe difficulty breathing: not being able to get words out,
choking or gasping

6. Choking: on liquids or solids right now

7. Heavy bleeding: spraying, pouring or enough to make a puddle

8. Severe injuries: after a serious accident or assault

9. Seizure (fit): shaking or jerking because of a fit, or unconscious (cannot be woken up)

10. Sudden, rapid swelling: of the lips, mouth, throat or tongue

If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 999.

If you need urgent care but are not sure where to go, use NHS 111.

Sarah posting on a Sunday, she must be after something… and I am 🤪.

As many of you know I am a BIG dog lover and I have my very own rescue pup 💙.
This year i am wanting to help Maxis Mates out as much as I can. With the nights now being a lot colder all the fur babies need extra warmth. If any of my clients or friends have any old towels, bedding or blankets that are no longer needed to them PLEASE let me know. I can collect them from yourself and take them over to Maxis who I know will be grateful for anything they receive 🫶🏻.

Here’s a picture of little, Evie a Maxis Mates dog in need of her forever home. My mam who is an amazing volunteer had the pleasure of walking her along the beach today 🩷 🐶.

I had a lovely new gentleman client today. I could have listened to his stories all day.
A basic nail trim and a good chat made the world of difference to him 🙂 👣
