Teesside Hospice We’re changing lives across Teesside by supporting people and families with terminal illnesses. We’re bringing people together.

Everybody gets treated as an individual, whether it’s physical, mental or emotional support they need from us. We support people to stay as independent as possible, for as long as possible. From patients, family and friends to our clinical team, counsellors, staff, volunteers and our fundraisers. We make sure that everyone gets to live well until the very end.

Mooch with your Pooch is back, humans! 🐶

Join us on Sunday 17th May from 8am - 12:30pm for a relaxed circular walk starting and ending at The Mill Pup in Stokesley - It's a lovely way to enjoy time with your family, treat your pooch, and support your local hospice!

Tickets are £15 per owner and include a breakfast sandwich, a tea or coffee to go, and a finisher’s certificate featuring a photo of you and your dog. For just £3 per dog, your furry friend will receive a delicious pupachino and a Teesside Hospice doggie goodie bag! As well as a dog sponsorship form with a prize for the pooch who raises the most sponsorship 💜

As well as the walk, the event will feature a pawtrait station for personalised drawings of your pooch, adopt a teddy, a raffle with fantastic prizes, a snack shack to keep you fuelled, stalls offering dog treats and grooming products and more!

This Dying Matters Week, we want to get Teesside talking - will you join us?

Dying Matters Week is a national campaign run by Hospice UK, which this year is aiming to open up a conversation that is so important, but not always easy to have. In a bid to get Teesside talking about death and dying, we're hosting two special events this May:

💜 Dying Matters Conference
We’d love to welcome all members of the community to join us for our very first Dying Matters Conference, which will take place on Tuesday 5th May at Teesside University Students Union. We’ll be joined by local funeral planners, solicitors, celebrant, Teesside Hospice teams and more to get Teesside talking about dying and how we can prepare while we’re still here. On Friday 8th May 2026, we’re opening our doors to offer you the chance to find out more about your local hospice.
