Well done, everyone who come to group last night and explored things they would like to release!

We were meant to actually do the fire bin and Chinese lanterns but due to the weather it has had to be organised for next week but still managed to do some activities on what different types of releases are including emotional, thoughts and negative behaviour release which was really good to see everyone getting thinking in preparation for next week!

If you have something you want to let go of and you’re not sure how to get yourself down a group next week anyone is welcome to come along and burn away things holding you back !

To raise awareness of Cerebral Palsy and to celebrate National Cerebral Palsy day, Freya P (Year 7) delivered an amazing assembly in front of her whole year group this morning! The rest of the school also watched a PowerPoint narrated by Freya in form time. Not only was the assembly incredible, Freya’s confidence, bravery and passion to share information about CP was outstanding. We are incredibly proud of her 👏

This weekend 🔥📝
whether it’s writing somebody’s name on a piece of paper or writing a letter of things you need to let go this weekend we are doing RELEASE activities.
Sometimes we find ourselves carrying old wounds and feelings that we don’t need to carry anymore and even though it seems silly people don’t realise that during visual activities/physical activities to release these traumas can actually have such a great effect!

Join us this weekend as we let of Chinese lanterns and we throw our old wounds into the burner bin along with conversations and reflections of our mental health this week 🙂‍↔️

Another post about cancelling group today… more of an explanation than just personal reasons. I’m a girl advocating for mental health so lemme be real with you!
I don’t know why but this weekend iv really struggled with my mental health! And it’s very important for people supporting people to support themselves too sometimes! As a therapist I was taught I can’t pour into cups if mine isn’t full! And unfortunately this weekend I’m not feeling very full so iv chose to put myself first. I do my best to run group every weekend but sometimes I do struggle! I suprise myself really that I still keep going with my disability and grief but I live my life to help others and I could never abandon it.
I guess I just wanted to be real as that’s a big thing for me !
I hope you all have had a lovely weekend and if anyone needs any 1-1 free 🆓 professional support feel free to contact me!

That’s a better post ❤️🙂‍↔️
