Corona virus (COVID-19) Precautions
Teescare is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all employees and clients, we advise everyone to follow the guidelines to help keep everyone safe from contracting or spreading the Corona virus.
It is advisable to stay at home if you have either any of the following symptoms
• a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
• a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
Use the 111 online corona virus service to find out what to do. If you exhibit any of the above symptoms, do well to call the office immediately so we can cancel any pre-booked shifts.
How to avoid catching and spreading corona virus (social distancing)
Everyone should do what they can to stop corona virus spreading.
• It is particularly important for people who:
• are 70 or over
• have a long-term condition
• are pregnant
• have a weakened immune system

Do
• Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
• Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
• Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
• Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
• Avoid close contact with people who have symptoms of corona virus
• Only travel on public transport if you need to
• Avoid social activities, such as going to pubs, restaurants, theatres and cinemas
• Avoid events with large groups of people
• Use phone, online services, or apps to contact your GP surgery or other NHS services

Don't
• Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean
• Do not have visitors to your home, including friends and family

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for overseeing day to day operations of Tees Care agency services; identifying and providing business growth within existing and new CQC markets within the North East, effectively competing for tenders, maximising growth and effective use of resources.

SCOPE:
In addition to maximising the opportunities of existing contractual services you will work with different health facilities in the catchment area, use your knowledge and skill in facilitating new sales of Tees Care services in compliance with the company's set procedures and guidelines. You will have responsibility for managing the recruitment of new staff members; ensuring personal files and records, timesheets and rota records, are all recorded accurately and processed within the required timescales.
You will work closely with the Directors of the business providing detailed reports on prospects and current services. You will have responsibility of reviewing and improving processes and procedures and your CQC knowledge will support the business as it expands its services into this area.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations:
1. Build upon existing relationships with the healthcare care facilities ie Nursing Homes, Care Homes and Hospitals increasing opportunities for services
2. Support the business in CQC accreditation and then deliver CQC compliant services
3. Keep the business up to date on compliance and legislative changes
4. Manage and increase agency staff numbers in order to increase resource provision
5. Facilitate bi-annual audits of agency staff to ensure information held is current
6. Booking appointments between clients and the business
7. Responsible for customer feedback or complaints procedures and resolution
8. Oversee timesheet compliance
9. Respond and resolve employee issues
10. Ensure accurate record keeping is maintained. NOT DOCUMENTED, NOT DONE.

Business Growth:
11. Identify and build relationship for delivery of services to new clients
12. Tender identification and submission for delivery of CQC accredited services
13. Identify marketing opportunities and work with the Directors to maximize opportunities
14. Agree objective targets for growth with the Directors and provide regular feedback on these targets

We are a care staffing agency based in Teesside with our office in Middlesbrough. We specialise in recruiting nurses, healthcare assistants, support workers in temporary and long term placements. We are currently recruiting for people to join our team at our residential and supported living service.
Responsibilities of 1-2-1 Carer
Worker require some experience in a care setting. The job will involve supporting service users on a one to one basis with personal care; recording and documenting information, following company policies & procedures; as well as being responsible for the general welfare and safety of service users, promoting their dignity, qualities, values and rights.
Essential criteria
You should have good communication, empathy skills and team work is vital for the role along with your positive “can do” attitude and commitment to the highest standards of customer service, so that people we support receive positive and good out come from the care and support they receive.

Work Pattern
Different working hours may apply depending on week rota (working hours range from 8 am-8pm /11am-11pm, and short daily hours 9am to 1pm)
Hourly rate £8.97 plus (weekend and bank holiday enhancements)
Experience:
• Care: 1 year (Essential but not requires as new workers will receive both skill based and on the job training)
Location:
• Teesside, County Durham and North Yorkshire Areas
Language:
• English (Preferred)
