We are looking for someone new to join our team on a part time basis. Experience needed with horses and willing to work alongside our few farm animals as well. Must be happy working in a team and alone and taking part in our sessions working with our lovely participants who have a variety of additional needs. General yard duties, working with our therapy ponies but also youngstock/stallions

Hours
8-5pm - Mondays
8-1pm Tuesdays
8-1pm Wednesdays
x2 half day Sundays/ month and occasional Sunday holiday cover.

We will need to do a DBS check. Job share is possible

Do you work as an equine/animal facilitated therapist/psychotherapist/ psychologist or other profession within animal activities?

Do you need a base to allow you to work with animals?
We would love other professionals to join us at HunnyBeez Farm, to help expand what we offer and keep the ponies busy when we're off working elsewhere.

Our facilities include
stables and therapy horses
small farm
small animals (rabbits/guinea pigs)
open land
clinic rooms
car park

We are closed Sundays/Mondays to allow the ponies some rest but we could rota in Mondays for some ponies if needed but the farm and land is always accessible.

HunnyBeez is a quiet, relaxed care farm working with anyone with additional needs. Our facilities will suit someone offering 1-1 or small group sessions.

You must be fully insured in your area. Please note this is not an employed position but a chance for an individual to use our lovely facilities and amazing therapy animals. The rent goes back into running our additional needs centre and helping those who need our services.

Everyone at Parklands is just so excited and proud of Joshua Hoskins for winning the BBC Make a difference fundraiser award. Josh is truly inspirationanal, he makes us smile everyday and has done so much to support charities including ourselves. Huge congratulations to Josh and his family as their support is invaluable.

We have plenty of 2025 honey available. All from our own hives. Natural honey, simply filtered and jarred £5.50 227g or 2 for £10. We also have beeswax candles, massage bars and body lotion - all cosmetically tested and handmade on the farm. Funds go back into running our care farm
