Hi all,
Just recently the results that my hypnotherapy clients have been having has slightly blown my mind againā¦. In a really good way! š
A few years ago I fell out of love with hypnotherapy, not because it wasnāt working for my clients, but because of the environment I was practicing in, too many disruptions, too many people buzzing around, banging doors and I was on edge. It just wasnāt fun anymore. So I backed away from it a bit (or quite a lot to be truthful) š¤
Fast forward to 2019 and moving out to the countryside here in Byley, investing in state of the art kit to record sessions for my clients and falling back in love with the incredible tool that is Hypnotherapy and the results havenāt stopped flooding in sinceā¦! It still catches me off-guard just how incredible the results I get are āØ
This month alone the results are insane..!
A client went on a plane for the first time in years panic attack and fear free ā his family didnāt even recognise him as he even got up and walked around the cabin! He would have been happy with just āNot hating itā, but he actually enjoyed his holiday flights and has now booked more flights and is looking forward to them! All achieved after just four sessions āŗļø
Another client came to me having had years of therapy for health anxiety and panic attacks, nothing had worked. She felt this was her last chance. The fear just wouldnāt go away. Six hypnotherapy sessions later and she described herself this week as, āMore content and peaceful than I ever dreamed I could be.ā That gave me goosebumps! š±
Thereās so many more incredible stories I could share but hereās the point of this post...
Do you want to know more? Come for a free consultation and letās talk. To be clear I donāt believe this suits everyone, I would be lying if I said it did and not many Therapists or Hypnotherapists would admit that. But Iād rather be honest. Thatās my job. Thatās why I get the results that I do šŖ

Happy Love your Pet Day! I thought an apt moment to update on Poppyās progress and our plans for 2026 š
After taking on just too much last year I am determined that we will get all of Poppyās exams completed in the first half of this year. She is doing amazingly well and continues to join me for āpracticeā client appointments and cuddles here in Byley š
Outside of work she continues to be a total diva and very spoiled! š
As always if youād like her to feature in one or several of your sessions here, or even just to meet her, pop me a comment or message and weāll make it happen.
Love to all of the pets out there today, either those still with us or those that have left us. You are all loved š

Sometimes if Iāve been on school run duty, Ellie will come back to the cabin whilst I finish off. Apparently some days itās just too much effort to even take off your coat or ear muffs! š
Aside from that though she always reflects what clientās say⦠That the environment here is calming, warm, friendly and really rather lovely. High praise indeed from my harshest critic! š
Love to all and have a great day!

Even therapists need a break š
Taking some well-deserved time off this half-term, but I'm still here for you! Messages and emails will be answered, just not as quickly as usual. Thank you for your patience as I recharge!
Wishing everyone a wonderful week filled with moments of self-care and joy. Let's all take a moment to pause and breathe.

So today is Valentineās Day and I bet if your feed is anything like mine it will have been flooded with hearts, flowers and the perfect idea of romance⦠All fine, well until thatās all youāre seeing that isā¦! š
I thought hard about what to post today⦠Something about relationships? Something about being without a partner today or maybe coping with loss? Something about self-care? All valid topics, but nothing really sat quite right š¤
Then it hit me. Love. Simple.
I donāt mean hearts and flowers (Although they are nice⦠Hint hint Mr Ingledew Therapy!!!). What I actually mean is respect, kindness and care. So today whether it is love for a partner, your family or friends, or a fury friend⦠Take the opportunity to think about love ā¤ļø
In a world where there seems like so much division, drama and negativity, itās so easy to lose sight that most human beings are generally good, just trying to get to grips with āEarth Schoolā as I call it and if we are lucky enough along the way we experience love āŗļø
Whatever you are doing today be nice to yourself and take a moment to reflect š¤
Love to all,

Hi everyone
Where does the time go?! I think I am definitely getting old! š
There are still a few remaining free consultation slots for February and more appointment times have been opened up for March š
If you, or someone you know, feels the time is right to make a change then book using the link below or DM me. No obligation, no pressure, just solutions and finding a more positive way ahead
I am trying to limit my screen time again⦠My alternative go to?! One of these! Iāve not chosen which one yet š¤
Clients often ask me how I switch off. This is definitely one of the ways. I like non-serious light reading that I can get a bit lost in š
Any recommendations to add to my list? Please comment below. New suggestions required! š

No pressure, no hard sell, just an informal meeting and the chance to have a chat š¬
Here we are at the last week of January! Weāve almost made it! š
How has your January been? I think mine had been going along really quite smoothly, until the last few days, where I think being rained on one too many times and the dark evenings have started to wear a bit thin! š«
My own mental trick to turn it aroundā¦? Find the positive, even if itās small and to look ahead. Bring on February and my daffodils! š š¼
Hereās to a new week!

I have had a big realisation on my part as we hurtle through January 2026 and but it has been building for a while⦠š¤
Itās really quite simple. I need to finish one thing before I start another ā
Therefore, I am determined that 2026 will be the year that the book finally comes out (yes really!), that I will complete the remainder of Poppyās Therapy Dog exams, that I will finally get the six business books and exercises on my desk completed, and the list goes on⦠š
Why am I sharing this? Well firstly because if you follow me here and are wondering where the completion of some of these thing are, the answer is simply, I did too much all at once and nothing quite got over the line last year. It will this year!
But also, that even in doing what I do as a Therapist, I am not the complete perfect version of a human being. We are all āwork in progressā and thatās ok. Itās not only about recognising what you need to do differently, but then actually doing it differently that matters š

My name is Karen Ingledew BSc (Hons) GQHP Ad. Dip. Hyp. and I am a Cheshire based Therapist. I am passionate about what I do, the relationships I build with my clients and the results that we achieve together.
I combine the best of Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to achieve amazing results for my clients. Often with results they never dreamed possible.
I am honest, straight-forward and empathetic. What I do is not just about the treatment, it is fundamentally about the relationships I build with my clients and the journey that we go on together to get you to where they want to be.
I am proud of all of my clients' journeys. Many of whom have been kind enough to allow me to share their comments on this website.
My Background
I completed my BSc in Psychology from Manchester University in 2003. For 15 years my business career involved supporting people going through significant and challenging work, and personal change. I am proud of my success in this field, yet something was always missing...
My ultimate goal has always been to utilise my skills to help people achieve things they never thought possible.
I have always been interested in Mental Health and the power of what we can achieve both ourselves alone and with some help. This is one of the reasons I was drawn to Hypnotherapy and NLP.
By 2016 I was able to fulfil my goal of helping people in a completely unique way. By combining my Psychology qualifications, Advanced Hypnotherapy qualifications, personal skills and business experience, I am able offer my clients something very different to what was out there already.
I love working with every client that comes through my door.
I love that I'm different to anyone that they have seen before. Above all, I love that I can see them make a personal and lasting change for themselves, often after little success elsewhere.
