When your flower lady becomes your friend… the veranda changeover turns into something much more 💕🌸

A little bit of reusing, a little bit of refreshing… and a lot of laughter in between ✨

We keep our birch framework as our base each season, simply restyling it with different florals or ribbons — which makes every changeover feel completely new, without starting from scratch 🌿

From unpacking last season’s florals, to me turning up mid-way with a glass of champagne 🥂… to a last-minute rug run!

This year’s vibe is all about colour, energy and lifting your mood… whatever the weather 💛

And can we just take a moment for these vibey lampshades… 💕✨ our newest little addition 🌸

A lovely surprise 60th tonight with a beautiful grazing board by , great company, and a gorgeous spa garden setting 🌿

Such a nice moment seeing the Birthday girl arrive blindfolded and walk into a room full of friends waiting for her — a really special surprise.

Mother’s Day looks a little different when your children are older. They’re busy building their own lives, working hard and chasing their dreams — and that’s exactly how it should be. But it doesn’t mean the day shouldn’t still be celebrated. 💐

I managed a lovely meal at Define with my son yesterday before he headed off to work later on Mother’s Day, and I was spoilt with the most beautiful flowers from the incredibly talented

Today started perfectly with a mini spa morning — champagne on the veranda (still my favourite space in the the whole house), followed by a quick relax in the hot tub.

Then it was off to one of my favourites, Louis restaurant in Manchester, to round off the day with my husband.

Motherhood changes over the years… but it’s always something worth celebrating.

Even if it ends with a parking ticket. 🚗💸

International Women’s Day feels especially meaningful to me this year.

Starting this spa from scratch after years in the corporate world was one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done. There were moments of doubt, but what has carried me through is the incredible women around me.

I’m so grateful for the friends who supported me from the beginning, and for the beautiful sisterhood that has grown through this space — women who walk through the doors as clients and often leave as friends.

I’m also incredibly proud of my step-daughters, who have grown into such amazing women. Being part of their lives and watching them become who they are today means more to me than they know.

And today I want to celebrate the brilliant women behind the scenes who help make this spa what it is — from our therapists to the flower installation team, caterers, laundry service, gardener and cleaner. So many incredible women running their own businesses and supporting mine. This place truly exists because of all of you.

Today is about celebrating strong, inspiring women everywhere — and I feel very lucky to be surrounded by so many of them. 💜
