Sterimed Group is delighted to announce that today it has completed the acquisition of Westfield Medical, a leading supplier of sterilization packaging systems, based in the UK. Established for over 45 years, Westfield Medical has developed a strong market presence in the UK as well as in export markets with a complete product offering for hospitals and medical device manufacturers. The company produces sterilization pouches, reels, bags, wraps and tray liners from its manufacturing site near Bristol. In addition to developing longstanding relationships with its customers, Westfield Medical has innovated notably in successfully launching HUMIPAK, a unique moisture retention pouch for post-operative instrument handling, helping reduce healthcare associated infections. Westfield Medical is also a strong brand in the sterilization packaging marketplace, serving the UK NHS and all its other customers with high quality products and a long-established reputation in its field.
