This book explains where the various reflexes involved in the Limbic System present and they are all on the big toe! So far a fascinating read.
The Limbic System is a group of structures in the brain that regulate emotions, behavior, motivation and memory.

There was a gentle energy in the therapy room today, a quiet transition from winter’s rest toward the light of spring. I really appreciated the soft light and energy, while the rain and wind moved outside. I hope my clients felt it too 🙏👣🌬✨️

My latest CPD course, Thai Foot Massage.  Some courses are brilliant and this was one of them👣! Reflexology based, but learning different ways of working the foot, working up the lower legs on acupressure points along the Sen (Meridan) Lines.  Softly stimulating these points with fingers, hands and my Thai massage stick.

These techniques will be incorporated into our regular treatments.  Alternatively add an additional 30 minutes just for Thai Foot Massage. This ensures we can cover all Reflexology and Thai Foot Massage points, for a thorough, restorative and deeply relaxing experience. 😍👣🇹🇭

The latest issue of Reflexions dives into how reflexology research is evolving.

One study explored the effectiveness of individual reflex points. Researchers discovered that stimulating the kidney reflexes on the foot led to increased blood flow to the kidneys. Interestingly, when other reflex areas were pressed, there was no effect on the kidneys.

We already know that reflexology works holistically to help balance the body, but it’s really intriguing to see how powerful a single reflex point can be on its own!
