🐾 Lovely boy Ozzy has been coming to us for 3 years to help manage his osteoarthritis in his stifles (knees). Ozzy was just 2 years old when he got his diagnosis, proving that arthritis isn’t just an old dog disease! We treat many young dogs with arthritic change, so if you think your dog might be showing signs of joint issues, speak to your vet 🐾

🐾 This little floof ball is Pom Pom! He is a Pomeranian who joins us for hydrotherapy after having a Tibial Tuberosity Transposition (TTT) to repair his luxating patella (dislocating kneecap) 🐾

🐲 Pom Pom has a bit of a reputation at the vets for being a bit of a Gremlin but we are happy to report he was as good as gold for us 🌟

🐶 We take time for our appointments to ensure every dog feels comfortable and at ease. We also bribe them with cheese! 🤣

🐾 Having reactive dogs can be hard work! We love going to secure dogs fields to ensure everyone has a fun time without the anxiety or stress of meeting other off-lead dogs. We love the houseofmuddypaws (Suffolk based) and ely_dog_field (Ely based) as both have lovely clean (and fenced off!) water areas to paddle in, and are disabled dog friendly! Mooie tried the little see-saw and was particularly impressed with the ball which she tried to sneak in the car 🤣 🐾

🐾 As the cold sets in, it’s important to keep your dog warm. We recommend using a coat when out if your dog will tolerate wearing one! We have seen a decline in mobility recently, so if your dog suffers from a joint or muscle issue then it’s a great idea to keep them warm and dry. 🐾

🥶 choose a coat that’s lightweight but warm, and doesn’t restrict movement. We like hurtta_uk or drydogsuk for walks
☔️ Dry your dog well after their walk
💦 Wash your dog’s feet after they have been walking on paths or roads that have been gritted.
🐶 bring a drying coat if you come to hydrotherapy
🐕‍🦺 Drying coats will be available to buy from us, so let us know if you’d like your dog to try one! Saves the mess in your car, and can help dry your dog on the way home

🐾 Lovely boy Gibbs joins us for physiotherapy & hydrotherapy after having surgery to repair his cruciate ligament at Christchurch Veterinary Referrals. 🐾

Gibbs is an anxious boy but there isn’t anything that will put him off his favourite treat! Is that a 5 star review Gibbs?!

🐾Little Oscar is the cutest little teddy bear! Oscar has a history of luxating patella and has had some episodes of spinal discomfort in the past. He is a little anxious of noises but we have worked on his confidence, and now he copes so well with his monthly sessions 🐾
