🚶‍♀️🌿 Dementia Friendly Walks for All 🌿🚶‍♂️

Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape are hosting Dementia Friendly “Walks for All” for people living with dementia, along with their families and carers.

A great opportunity to enjoy a gentle walk, get some fresh air, and meet others in a friendly and supportive environment. Please see the post below for information.

Our next Walks for All meets 10am Tuesday 17th March at The Albion, Promenade, Arnside. Easy guided walk for people living with dementia and their carers, open to anyone who would like the support of our friendly group. No need to book, just turn up.

To help ensure you don’t run out of your medication, please remember to order your repeat prescriptions in advance.

You can request your medication in the following ways:
• Hand in your perforated repeat slip at reception with your required medication ticked
• Email your request to our admin email address

We’re pleased to share that the SEND Local Offer Drop-In Service from Westmorland and Furness Council will be visiting Milnthorpe next month.

📍 Milnthorpe Family Hub, Firs Road
📅 Wednesday 18th March

This drop-in session is a great opportunity for parents, carers and families of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to discuss available support services, and to ask any questions in a supportive and welcoming environment. There are also other dates below at other areas across South Lakes.

Our practice is supporting Jess’s Rule 💛

Jess’s Rule is a national primary care initiative led by the Department of Health and Social Care and NHS England.

It encourages GP teams to “reflect, review and rethink” if a patient contacts us three times with the same, ongoing or worsening symptoms.

If something doesn’t feel right, please let us know. We want to make sure your concerns are properly reviewed and that persistent symptoms are carefully looked at.
