The community diagnostic centre is providing extra appointments for blood tests this winter. If would like to use this service please can you collect your blood request form at reception (you will need to take this with you) and call 01908995526 option 8 for an appointment.

This service currently have appointments available today and on week days over the next couple of weeks.

This is not replacing services at ASPLANDS just offering some extra capacity and choice over the next few weeks.

Our Community Diagnostic Centre, Lloyds Court, recently opened in October 2024. It is a short walk from the Central Milton Keynes shopping centre within the Lloyds Court shopping complex. The

Flu season is here! We have ordered flu vaccines for our eligible patients to help everyone stay healthy this winter.

A quick reminder - when we order vaccines and then you don’t book an appointment with us it can make it tricky to plan and avoid waste!

We still have empty appointments for flu tomorrow and for most of next week. If you are eligible or you’ve received an invite but haven’t responded please book your flu appointments with us so we can continue to make sure our flu clinics run smoothly.

Researchers from MKUH, Milton Keynes City Council, and Loughborough University are looking for local residents to join a public advisory group.

We are looking for people to help shape an entire research project, ensuring it truly meets the needs of people living with type 2 diabetes.

If you or someone in your care has type 2 diabetes, we'd love to hear your experiences, to help shape and improve care and outcomes for future patients.

Our vaccination season gets into full swing from Monday 14th October. Please look out for text messages from us offering you the opportunity to book for the COVID vaccination and the flu vaccination. If you are eligible for both we can do both in one appointment.
We are currently taking part in a trial which involves analysing swabs from patients presenting with upper respiratory symptoms. This is showing the flu has already come to our area.
Call reception if you are eligible and don't have an invitation.

Asplands Medical Centre has been on its current site for 40 years this weekend. In that time we have seen some excellent doctors stay many years, committed to providing continuity of care for their patients. The partnership of doctors who run the practice can be traced back to Dr Holmes who saw patients in The Shrubbery in Woburn Sands pre 1890!

Just a reminder that next week is our second and final flu and covid week for patients that are eligible for vaccines on the NHS. (For flu this is patients over 65 or in an at risk group, people that are a carers or pregnant).

Appointments can be booked via the text invite we have sent you, through your NHS app, through system one online, by using the practice website or through our reception team.

We are not planning any more big clinics after next week so please help us by booking your appointments.
