Exciting Update from CMK Medical Centre:

We want to let our patients know that our GPs are now using—or will soon begin using—a tool called Surgery Intellect during consultations. This tool acts as a clinical scribe, helping GPs accurately capture consultation notes in real time, so they can focus more on listening and engaging with you.

Important: Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities. Before Surgery Intellect is used during your consultation, your GP will always ask for your consent. You have full control over whether scribing is turned on.

We believe this technology will help improve the accuracy of your records and allow GPs to spend more time on what matters most: your health.

🏠 Important Update – Housing Letters from Your GP 🏠

We understand that housing problems can have a big impact on your health and wellbeing. However, please note that GPs are not able to provide housing letters at a patient’s request.

If the council or housing authority requires medical information to support your application or review, they will write to us directly with your consent. We will then provide the necessary details in response to their request.

This ensures the information is accurate, relevant, and shared securely.

📞 Phone Line Issues 📞

We’re currently experiencing intermittent problems with our phone lines. This is due to an issue with our system provider. Our IT team is aware and is working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

If you request an appointment via our triage system, please watch your phone for a text confirming your slot.

Can’t make it? Reply to the text! Even a quick message helps us offer your appointment to someone else.

Today, we had 5 no-shows on a half-day. This means 5 Urgent Care attendances for others could have been avoided if we’d known in time.

Help us help everyone— let us know if you can’t attend.

Reminder: The practice will be closing at 2.30pm today and reopening at 8am tomorrow morning. Appointment availability is therefore halved today, please be prepared to attend the Urgent Care Centre if your symptoms are urgent. Your local pharmacy and NHS 111 are also available to help.
