While food does provide us with a big chunk of it, we do get energy from all these other sources and many are completely underrated.

Ever notice how you feel a lot better on holiday, and seem to get less hungry in the sun?

That’s because while on holiday in a hot climate, we get a lot of energy from grounding, from the sea and from the sun.

Eskimos and people living in the far northern hemisphere on the other hand, get far less sunlight and therefore require a lot more heavy and nutrient-dense food to fuel them. They cannot survive on salads! 😂

As with everything in life, it is all about balance.

You should not need stimulants and “miracle” energy-boosting pills or supps to make you feel at the top of your game (although they can help).

The most powerful self-healing tools are contained within your own body and natural surroundings.

Hyperbaric chambers! What is it and who’s it for? "Over the weekend I paid a visit to Pure's facility in Milton Keynes and did a hyperbaric session. The concept is depravation combined with high concentrated oxygen. Once the chamber is closed off it takes 15-20 minutes to bring you to a deprivation of what is equivalent to 50ft underwater. From there it allows your blood cells to actually absorb the high concentrated oxygen. (Unlike those oxygen bars where you just put on the mask and breath it in. It’s actually not being absorbed and completely pointless) So, more oxygen to your cells = healing and recovering."
Hyperbaric is used for a wide variety of treatments. From burn wounds, brain injuries, children with autism, athletes looking for faster recovery and even cosmetic purposes of anti-aging. (The list goes on)
It’s a pretty rad experience and I’m going to start doing it frequently.
