Event licence application has been put through for International Yoga Day Event at Willen Lake North which will take place on 21 June 2026.

This year I really hope to get more professionals involved in the event organisation, hence, our first Planning Meeting is taking place 6 months in advance, details below.

🙌🏻 Imagine a world where Collaboration & Purpose come before Profits.

Yesterday we came one step closer to make it happen: 12 professionals gave up their Sunday morning to discuss how we could bring more yoga (as well as other holistic and alternative therapies) to those who need it the most: ⚫️those impacted by long-term mental health issues, ⚫️addiction, ⚫️chronic health problems, ⚫️post natal depression, and ⚫️traumatic life events.

With clear takeaways, I am confident that Yoga for Health Alliance has exciting times ahead. Next stop: International Yoga Day 2026 Meeting in December (next month). A provisional date has been agreed which I will confirm once the venue is secured. It will be an open meeting for yoga and wellbeing professionals and enthusiasts who would like to get involved in the organisation of the event.

The cruise hosted by was very much enjoyed by all. Thank you for accommodating our meeting. It was indeed one of a kind and will be remembered for long.

If you’re thinking about starting yoga, now is the best moment. One day it will be too late 👻👻👻

Halloween Yoga 31.10.2025 🪦

Halloween gets a bad rep in some circles. Like with many other things, it depends what you make of it. I take it as an opportunity to acknowledge the one thing certain in this life, death. Part of our lesson on Earth is to get the right understanding and depart without the sense of regret or fear. ⚫️ Living in the past or in the future won’t get you there. ⚫️ Numbing your feelings at the expense of growth won’t get you there. ⚫️ Seeing yourself as this body alone won’t get you there. So if you’re paralysed by the thought of death, rethink how you live.

My costume carried a message to all who numb their feelings with one too many glasses of 🍷. It’s harder to sit with yourself and reflect, but it gets you closer to Who you really are. Promise.

, or the “Lord of the Dance Pose,” is named after the Hindu god Shiva in his form as the cosmic dancer. I can’t wait to get some proper instructions (added to my wish-list).

For many many months now I’ve been drinking warm water on an empty stomach instead of having coffee. Here’s why:

🧠 First of all, I broke a habit of getting coffee as a comforting routine before anything else. The benefit of this alone is strengthening my willpower and rewiring the brain pattern.

🧠 The main benefits are improved digestion, bowl movements and hydration. Coffee helps with your 💩 , yes, however, if you rely on it ‘to go’, it may be an indication of a poor gut health.

🧠 One of the main reasons for people to try this simple remedy is to relieve constipation.

🧠 Other reasons: detoxification (flushing toxins accumulated over the night), metabolism increase, to reduce congestion (nasal), improved circulation.

🧠 Following Ayurvedic and Yogic recommendations, I started drinking warm water in squat to improve the health of my knee joints. It has worked wonders so far!

🌿 I am currently doing Pancha Karma (3-month Ayurvedic treatment) and as part of it I have been prescribed to take warm water with Ashwagandha and Ghee, both of which have recently attracted a lot of interest from researchers and mainstream retailers in the West.

I am fascinated by Ayurveda and I intent to share it with my students as I believe everyone is better off knowing how they can look after their health in ways that agree with the nature, and our true self. No side effects but, yes, discipline and faith in the process required!
