It’s about the lasting impact something had on you, emotionally, physically, and neurologically.

Not everything needs to be solved in one breath.

Sometimes, healing means knowing what to feel now and what to gently return to later.

Compartmentalising gets a bad reputation sometimes, but it’s a powerful coping strategy when used with care. It’s not about shutting off. It’s about staying steady, one step, one room at a time.
