Ques: Can Exercises cause heart attack in you? Should you be worried?
Answer: Very likely not, you are more on risk of developing heart problems and other lifestyle issues like Diabetes and Hypertension if you don't work out regularly. Remember working out brings the best in you, viz healthy eating, keeping check on your body wieght, cholesterol levels, sugar levels etc and therefore you are foretold about any possible heart problem that may impact you in future. So I recommend you work out.
Ques: Can post COVID heart attack occur in people who recovered any complications?
Answer: Yes, more and more evidence is pouring in that after COVID, there are more risk of heart attacks, by a factor of 2-3 times more than normal individual who never had COVID. So keep a watch on that.
Ques: How to keep your heart in best shape when you work out?
Answer: Know the formula,
Maximum permissible heart rate
= 220- your age
For example my age is 33, the maximum permissible heart rate for me is 187 beats per minute.
Now while working out, my heart rate should not exceed this limit, additionally, I should chose the exercises those increase my heart rate but keep it 25% less than Maximum permissible limit for me (140-ish beats per minute), this is your aerobic gold mine where you don't strain your heart much but get maximum benifits of exercising. Even here, you should not keep your heart rate at this level for extended period but for few minutes (say 5-7 minutes and than take breaks, repeat 3-5 times in a day's work out). Warm up and cool down and proper hydration and nutrition are without doubt must to get maximum benefits.
Remember this formula is for normal individuals, if you are not sure, visit a good physio who can evaluate your physical status, stamina and strength and make you a workout plan. You can also subscribe to my YouTube channel if you wish to watch my health tips and suggestions.
