💥 From Burnout to Balance — one conversation at a time
Today I delivered a workshop to a group of amazing business leaders all about energy ⚡
We explored:
✨ What drains your energy
✨ What gives you energy
✨ And we used the Wheel of Life to see where the gaps (and the guilt!) might be hiding.
One of my favourite moments was when someone said, “People drain my energy.”
It led to such a good conversation about introverts and extroverts — and the huge misconception that it’s about being shy or outgoing.
In reality, it’s about where you get your energy from.
I explained that I’m an introverted extrovert — I love being around people, connecting, chatting, laughing… but afterwards?
💤 I need quiet time to recharge.
That alone time isn’t being antisocial — it’s being aware of how to refuel my energy tank.
We also talked about boundaries — because balance doesn’t come from adding more things to your to-do list.
It comes from subtracting what drains you.
