FRIDAY 13th | DAY OF THE GODDESS:

Before the rise of Christianity, Friday the 13th was a day to honour the goddess and celebrate feminine energy:

💫Friday the 13th was considered the day of Venus and Freya, the goddesses of love and sensuality.

💫The number 13 was sacred because it corresponded to the 13 cycles of the moon and menstrual cycle. It was also a symbol of transformation, creation, fertility, and death and rebirth.

💫Friday was considered a day to honour the Divine Feminine, celebrate beauty, wisdom and nourishment. Plus embrace creativity, sensuality and sexuality.

But sadly, this has changed over time and it’s now associated with bad luck and horror movies.

Some blame patriarchal religions for twisting the meaning of Friday the 13th.

Whichever, please let’s take some time today to honour this sacred day and the Divine Feminine and The Goddess.

If you’ve already completed Reiki Level 1 and feel ready to deepen your practice, I’m teaching Reiki Level 2 right here in Milton Keynes this April.

Reiki 2 is where your practice truly expands. Over two focused days you will:

✨ Learn and integrate the sacred Reiki symbols
✨ Develop confidence with distance healing
✨ Strengthen energetic boundaries
✨ Step into practitioner-level understanding (if you wish to work professionally)

This is an in-person, small group training with plenty of practical experience and personal guidance. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

As a UK Reiki Federation member and practising energy healer in Milton Keynes, I’m passionate about supporting students not just in learning Reiki — but embodying it with confidence and integrity.
