Loved this today. What a great way to start Easter Sunday

Get some exercise, make new friends, challenge yourself.

What's not to love?

On a very windy Easter Sunday morning 33 runners set off from a Whitehouse Medical Centre. We ran across to Grange Farm before crossing into Crownhill and then headed back via the Watling Street and Dansteed Way. Big thanks to Cathy W for being our fantastic tail runner and keeping us altogether. Don’t forget the run tomorrow from Willen Observation Wheel at 9.30am. Happy Easter! 🐣💝💚

Well groups tonight ensured we finished the week on a high

1/2 stone, 2 stone, 3.5 stone and target over at the Slimming World Olney group

I've learned batch cooking techniques, freezing ideas, how to say no to cake, how to swip ice cream, the benefits of Pilates, breakfasts maximising the power of protein and stay on track Easter tips.

Got to love my Thursday crew.

To My Members.

I've loved group this week 💛

Honestly, I've left every session feeling so proud and inspired by everyone. The honesty in the room, the determination, the support you show each other week after week… it’s just incredible to be part of.

We shared some fab ideas and clever strategies for staying on track over Easter 🐣 (yes, with chocolate in the house and social plans in the diary!). Things like:
✨ planning ahead instead of “starting again next week”
✨ keeping favourite Free Foods front and centre
✨ choosing what’s truly worth it rather than having everything
✨ remembering that one meal never undoes a week of success

It was such a powerful reminder that this isn’t about being perfect - it’s about being consistent, kind to yourself and staying in the game.

If today showed anything, it’s that you can enjoy Easter and still move towards your goals.

So proud of every single one of you 💫

You know that moment when you step on the scales…

You’ve been good all week
You’ve said no to biscuits
You’ve walked past the chocolate aisle like an absolute warrior…

…and the scales say:

–1lb

Just one.

And suddenly you’re standing there like
“Is that it?? I’ve basically suffered for NOTHING.” 😄

But here’s the thing…

1lb is still a pound off
1lb is still progress
1lb is still your body saying “thank you very much, keep going”

And do you know what people who reach their dream weight do?

They collect those 1lb losses like loyalty points.

One after another. Week after week.

Until one day they look back and realise those “only 1lbs” added up to something incredible ✨

So if you lost 1lb this week… I’m celebrating you.

Because that’s exactly how success is built 💙

What they’re usually missing isn’t effort.

It’s support.

Having somewhere local to come each week makes staying consistent feel much more achievable.

We're open this afternoon at York House Centre in Stony Stratford 4pm, 5.30 or 7pm. No better time to start than now.

There never seems to be a perfect time to start losing weight.

Life stays busy.
Work stays busy.
Family life stays busy.

Which is why so many people locally tell me they kept meaning to come along to group in Stony Stratford on a Monday… but kept putting it off.

The good news is you don’t need the perfect week.

You just need a starting point.

And sometimes that’s simply walking through the door.

Coming back to group isn’t about starting perfectly again.

It’s about continuing.

Something I’ve noticed over the years is this.

People rarely struggle because they don’t care.

They struggle because they’re doing everything on their own.

Trying to stay motivated on your own.
Trying to stay consistent on your own.
Trying to stay positive on your own.

That’s hard.

Support changes things.

Not because someone tells you what to do.

But because someone reminds you that you’re still doing better than you think you are.

And sometimes that reminder is exactly what keeps someone going for another week.
