I've had the best day.
Travelled to Peterborough to attend a neighbouring districts quarterly training as I couldn't make ours next Sunday.

So back in 2014 we all sat around throwing buckets of iced water over ourselves. This was mine and was just about a week before I joined Slimming World.
I remember how unhappy about my weight I was then, in fact how miserable I was about life in general. It’s a great reminder that I never want to go back to those days.
I might have lost my way over the last couple of years but I’m still 6.5 stone lighter than I was in this video.
I’m excited to have recommitted to Food Optimising 100% and to start changing some of the bad habits that have crept in. I'm also enjoying remembering what worked for me when I was first a member and re introducing those behaviours.

Super proud to have achieved this in group when I went today.
It's been a long time since I felt this in control.
It started with a single decision to make a change and recommit to my weight loss journey.
What's changed?
Only my attitude lol.
What's it given me?
Over a stone off in the last five weeks.
Increased confidence in my abilities.
A feeling of control.
More energy.
Better sleep.
A new sense of determination.
It's a complete turnaround from how I was feeling in July.
I'm not special. I'm not extraordinary. I don't possess special powers. I'm just someone who is trying really hard, eating delicious food and enjoying the support of her fellow slimmers. If I can, then you can...
