‘It’s like going to the Physio, Osteopath, Chinese doctor, and getting a massage all at the same time!’ -: Paul Moffat - Barnet, London.
Not content with knowing what he knows, he is always striving to learn and understand more. He believes staying up to date is a big part of his success but doesn’t believe this mean he must always research modern techniques. As such is currently doing a degree in Chinese Medicine from the top school in the UK - Total Therapy.
Here he studies under arguably the world’s leading authority in acupuncture Chris Davies, and with Michelle Bebbington who many say is the leading the way with Traditional Chinese Medicine in the country.
He has also trained with John Gibbons, Tim Paine, Paul Chek, and Dr Gary Mendoza just to name a few! Philip’s list of World leading educators, combined with his determination and genuine love of what he does mean you always leave his clinic feeling happy, calm, and in a better place than when you first walked in.
Philip initially started life as a professional chef having studied 3 years at the world-famous Westminster College in Vincent Square.
From the age of 8 he was training 6 days a week in martial arts, and by the age of 19 had his full adult black belt, 2 national titles, and numerous local titles.
Philip wanted to take his training to the next level, and despite working split shifts for Albert Roux in London he managed to complete a diploma in nutrition.
Fast forward some years, Philip found himself working full time as a Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist in the heart of London after completing his advanced training with Premier Global NASM. His clients would get master classes in nutrition, cooking lessons in their own homes, and Eastern inspired training sessions.
Over the years Philip has coached and helped fix many TV personalities, celebrities, and athletes with his personal favourite being Damien Lewis in preparation for season 2 of Homeland.
‘Helping people is what I’ve always wanted to do even from a young child. I do not believe what I do is a real job, it’s fun, rewarding, and the bigger the challenge the more excited I get!’ -: Philip Wheeler
