Lovely late Autumn walk in Blenheim gardens this afternoon followed by a well earned cuppa.
We were making the most of the milder, drier weather today ahead of the cold spell to come.

Eyes down,look in…

The earliest form of what we now call bingo can be traced back to 16th century Italy. A game called “Il Gioco del Lotto d'Italia” was played, involving numbers drawn from a bag and marked on cards. This game laid the foundation for the modern bingo game.

Whatever its origins it’s certainly a crowd pleaser here. I wonder if it has anything to do with the prizes 🤔

We absolutely loved our trip to the Apple Tree Tea Rooms. The staff were so accommodating, and the coffee was perfect. It's the ideal spot to catch up with a friend and watch the world go by.

Although the rain is much needed .. it did mean we couldn’t get out and sit in the garden. Instead we found other ways to occupy ourselves. The English Proverb quiz was a particular favourite.
