On Sunday we saw 8 wonderful new drums join the Caer Corhrain Herd.

A special drum birthing session was organised for some of this years Advanced Shamanic Pathways group with everyone bringing a gentle 12” Deer on Willow ash into being. It was a day full of reconnection, laughter and family.

Join us for a full day of creating your own Talking Stick and loose incense blend — two powerful tools for expression, ceremony, and intention.

Together we’ll explore how incense carries our prayers, messages and energy into the world, and how the Talking Stick helps us open up, speak our truth, and find our voice in circle.

You’ll be guided step by step to craft a blend that’s uniquely yours - using resins, herbs and botanicals.

For your Talking Stick, we invite you to find a stick beforehand - one that calls to you - along with any natural adornments you feel inspired to bring.

Has the beat of the drum been calling you?

All of our Drum Birthing Workshops for 2026 are now available for booking. Each workshop is held at Caer Corhrain on the Isle of Sheppey.

These are wonderful days spent in ceremony where we help guide you step by step - right from honouring the hide and the wood - to bring your own special drum into the world.

If you feel the call to birth a drum and walk with its heartbeat, we’d be honoured to welcome you.

Bring the heartbeat of Yule home this season.

We’re offering a special £10 off all Caer Corhrain drums for the week leading up to the Winter Solstice - and every drum comes with a free be**er, crafted with care and intention.

Whether you’re new to the path or well along your journey, this is a wonderful chance to welcome a drum into your practice, or to gift one to someone who’s ready to hear their own rhythm.

Each of our drums is born in ceremony on the marshes - every one carries its own voice, its own resonance, its own song.

Come and see if there’s a drum waiting for you. Our doors will be open on the dates below:

Wednesday 17th December - 17:00-18:30
Thursday 18th December - 17:00-19:30
Friday 19th December - 11:00-13:00
Saturday 20th December - 15:00-17:00

On Thursday evening, we will also be holding our regular Mixed Drum Circle - a perfect opportunity to stay, drum, and share the energy of the season.
And on Saturday 20th, we host our Winter Solstice Sweatlodge - a wonderful way to honour this sacred turning of the year. The lodge itself is full but you are more than welcome to come along and enjoy the energy of the day.

As winter settles in, join us for our monthly Drum Circles at Caer Corhrain.

• Mixed Drum Circle — celebrating Yule & the Winter Solstice

All circles begin at 8pm. Whether you’re experienced or completely new to drumming, you’re warmly welcome. Bring your drum if you have one, or borrow one on the night.

Dive Into the Mystery of the Shamanic Journey
Sat 17th January 2026 | 10:30–4:30 | £35

A grounded day exploring what the shamanic journey truly is. We’ll clear the myths, release the fear, and look at topics often misunderstood – including spirits, entities, and how false narratives take hold.

Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher.

Sacred Smoke, Sacred Voice – Talking Stick & Incense Crafting
Sat 22nd February 2026 | 10:30–5:00 | £40

Create your own talking stick (bring a stick from nature) and blend loose incense for ceremony. A day of crafting, expression and deep connection.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be adding our 2026 Sweatlodges to our pages and the website. In the meantime, here’s the full list of dates so you can pop them in your diary.

Bookings for each lodge will open on the Sunday after the previous lodge.

For example, bookings for the Spring Equinox Lodge will open on Sunday 1st February.
