Bookings are now open for our Yule Sweatlodge on Saturday, 20th December.

Join us as we honour Yule - the Winter Solstice, the turning of the Wheel when the Sun is reborn and the light begins its slow return.

Our sweatlodges offer a profound, healing, and heart-centred experience. Set upon the marshland and surrounded by open fields, the lodge is a place of peace, transformation, and connection - a sanctuary woven into the quiet mystery of the land.

Places are limited, so please get in touch early to secure your space.

To book, please email: Lynn.gosney@hotmail.com

If you booked onto a sweatlodge earlier this year prior to the change in booking policy, your space is still confirmed for this lodge.

Today marks when the veil between this world and the next is the thinnest. We remember all those who have come before us - both of our blood and of this land - as the wheel of the year turns and we enter the dark half of the year.

A Note on Our Practices at Caer Corhrain

At Caer Corhrain, we honour the natural ways with deep respect for nature, spirit, and the land - but always through safe and grounded practice.

We wish to clarify that we do not use or promote any hallucinogenic or psychoactive plants or substances within our ceremonies, circles, or healing work.

Our approach is rooted in the natural rhythms of the Earth, the power of sound, breath, and intention, and the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Every experience here - from drum circles to sweat lodges - is designed to support healing in a safe, sober, and sacred space.

By working in this way, we create a community where everyone can journey deeply while remaining fully present, held, and connected to the wisdom of the land.

Introduction to Reading Runes
Exchange - £35

Join us for a one-day course exploring the magic, history, and meaning of the runes. You’ll learn how to read and interpret them, connect with Norse mythology, and use runes for daily guidance, meditation, and self-reflection.

What’s included:
- Runic meditation to start
- History & Norse mythology
- Deep dive into rune meanings
- Practical reading techniques (spreads, casting, bind runes)
- Workbook included
- Supportive, hands-on practice

Simon has worked with runes for over 30 years and believes they’re best understood through story, symbolism, and myth - not just memorising meanings.

Find out more about the course on our website - https://www.touchtheearthuk.com/event/introduction-to-runes-with-sighpea-6th-december-2025/

Night of the Ancestors 2025

After the brief storm had passed and night began to settle, four fires were lit around Caer Corhrain - flames kindled in honour of those who have walked this land before us.

New friends and familiar faces gathered around the fire pit as the drums began to sing beneath the star-filled sky. Together, we celebrated those who are no longer with us, as the Heron’s Call echoed across the land - a reminder of the ever-turning wheel of life.

Stories were shared, laughter rose, and memories were brought to life before we feasted together on a table overflowing with food and warmth.

Grateful thanks to everyone who helped prepare for the evening, those who stayed to clear up in the morning, and all who joined us in this beautiful night of remembrance and celebration.

Embrace the Mysteries of Samhain

The veil between worlds grows thin…

This season, I’ve crafted a collection of magical sprays and incense to honour the deep turning of the year.

Each creation is blended by hand with sacred botanicals, resins, and essential oils chosen for their protective, purifying, and ancestral energies - capturing the dark, rich essence of Samhain.

Whether you’re cleansing your space, honouring your ancestors, or seeking inner wisdom, these blends guide you through the threshold of transformation and renewal, aligning you with the ancient rhythms of the earth.

Step into the smoke, the scent, and the stillness - and let the spirit of Samhain awaken within you.

Check out the collection on my website - https://wildselkie.co.uk/shop/wheel-of-the-year/samhain/
