We are experiencing some unexpected IT issues this morning and have no access to our PC’s so you may be asked to reschedule your appointment or to call us back later. We will update as soon as we can.

Due to a noticeable increase in flu and respiratory illnesses in our area, we are asking, if our patients are able, to wear a mask when attending for your appointment. Especially if you have any flu or respiratory symptoms.

We will have masks available at reception for those who wish to wear one.

📣Announcement for patients 📣

Aden health centre would like to apologise for the disruption in service from Friday 21st November.

From tomorrow, Monday 24th November we will be running an URGENT AND EMERGENCY SERVICE ONLY.

Our IT systems and phone lines are still currently down giving us very limited access. From 0830am on the 24th November we are hoping to have our phone lines diverted to allow us to accept calls for urgent matters only. If you cannot call, please attend the surgery and we will assess the clinical need for you to be seen.

We will update you all at midday on 24th November or before if there are any substantial changes.

Thank you for all your patience and understanding so far.

‼️ Further update ‼️

Our systems are still down. We have someone onsite looking into the issue and hope to be up and running before the end of the day.

Any Engage requests that have been submitted today will be dealt with as soon as we are back up and running but please be aware that some requests may not be looked at until Monday.

We have no access to our computer systems and cannot make or receive calls at the moment. We will be in touch with anyone that needs rescheduled on Monday.

Thank you to everyone who has attended the surgery today and been so understanding.

**Our phone lines and computers are currently still down and we have no access to Engage to deal with requests.
We are in touch with our IT department and hoping to have this resolved as soon as possible.
For any appointments that need to be rescheduled, we will be in touch to arrange this once our systems are back up and running. Thank you to everyone for their patience so far.**

Unfortunately we need to cancel our extended hours clinic this evening.
If you were booked in for a telephone call this evening, we will try to contact you to rearrange. Alternatively, call the surgery tomorrow to rearrange.

We are noticing an increase in requests for appointments for hand foot and mouth.

Hand, foot and mouth disease can be unpleasant, but it will usually clear up by itself within 7 to 10 days. You can normally look after yourself or your child at home.

***Cosy Cuppa Sessions***
As Winter is fast approaching we would just like to remind everyone that we have our Cosy Cuppa Sessions every Tuesday & Thursday from 10am-2pm.

Tuesday's sessions include a heated space for 4 hours, hot drinks and biscuits.

Thursday's sessions include a heated space for 4 hours, hot drinks, hot soup & sandwiches

These sessions are both FREE OF CHARGE and there is a great group of people that come along so it would be great to see some new faces join us 😊
