We’re pleased to let our patients know that the healthcheck machine in our waiting room is now working again ✅

The machine allows you to quickly and easily measure:
• Height
• Weight
• BMI
• Blood pressure

At the end of the check, you can now scan a QR code on the screen to receive a digital copy of your results, along with useful NHS links to support a healthy lifestyle 🧡

Feel free to use it while you’re waiting for your appointment, or just call in.

📣 Update on Weight-Loss Injection Eligibility in Gloucestershire

We have now received the definitive guidance on who can be treated in General Practice with weight-loss injections. The eligibility rules set by Gloucestershire are very strict.
To qualify, patients must have:
✔️ A BMI over 40
AND
✔️ At least 4 out of 5 specific qualifying health conditions

Over the past few months, we’ve had many queries about this. After carefully reviewing our patient list, we have identified three patients who meet the criteria. We will contact these patients directly.

🙏 Please do not contact the surgery about eligibility, as we are unable to offer these medications outside the strict rules provided.
