We are actively recruiting for an MSK Sonographer to work at our clinic.

What does being a Sonographer at Anna Rose Healthcare/A PEACE OF MIND entail?
Conducting ultrasound procedures efficiently and effectively within the private sector; adhering to best practice of ultrasound technique. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant Codes of Practice. Professional and cooperative attitude towards patients, customers and colleagues.

To undertake ultrasound examinations of the following areas:
Carotid arteries, liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, uterus, ovaries, urinary bladder, prostate plus all MSK area’s

What skills and experience will you need to apply?
Experience working with ultrasound equipment in a clinical environment scanning the following areas:
Carotid arteries, liver, gallbladder, biliary tree, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, uterus, ovaries, urinary bladder, prostate, plus all MSK part’s

• PGD in ultrasound or equivalent (i.e MBBS, DMRD) with previous experience in ultrasound
• Member of an appropriate professional body and to hold a valid registration
• Previous skilled use of ultrasound equipment
• Safety awareness skills utilizing ultrasound equipment

Dependency on some prescriptions, well there are alternative options….

More priority should be given to dealing with prescription drug dependency in Wales, AMs have said.
The report was in response to a 200-name petition started by Stevie Lewis from Monmouth - who went through "a long and crippling withdrawal" after 11 years of antidepressant dependency.

AMs said ministers had no strategy to deal with the problem, despite a growing recognition of it.
The Welsh Government said tackling this type of drug dependence was a priority.
