The 80:20 rule, whereby 80%of your diet is healthy, and 20% maybe not so, means that I can test out new vegan cake at work without feeling guilty. (I did cycle 40km there and back though!)

While you can't out exercise a poor diet, you can't be truly healthy without exercising! Warmer weather makes it easier ...

While you can't out exercise a poor diet, you can't be truly healthy without exercising! Warmer weather makes it easier to get outside, so I've had a cycle ride, hurrah (the first since my injury), and my legs saw the light of day on my lunchtime run today! How are you moving your body today?

Half term break has meant that I've got out for 5 runs in the last 6 days! Some brilliant weather, some terrible weather, some with friends and some on my own. This is what consistency looks like......week after week after week; improving cardio fitness, bone density, circadian rhythms and having lots of fun!

Not sure how much light I'm getting on a foggy morning like this, but it feels great to be up and out for half an hour before going to work! More serotonin now means more melatonin at bedtime. And I get a headstart on my steps!

✅ recovering well from injury
✅ ready to start half marathon training
