Alexander (Sandy) aged 92 years, (former Fire Officer) dearly beloved husband of Eileen, loving father of Douglas and Loraine, a much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Jim (James) at Ninewells Hospital on Sunday 25th January 2026.

Beloved son of Irene and the late Edgar, loving brother to Irene, much loved Dad to Ariane, Sophie and Kelly and adored Grandad to Finlay and Bonnie.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday 10th February at 1pm in Selwood Funeral Directors Service Rooms 77-79 Dundee Street, Carnoustie, followed by an interment at Shanwell Cemetery at 1.45pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

Family flowers only please and donations, if desired, to Paediatric Diabetic Research will be taken on the day.

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Nancy (Nan) Hay, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 (formerly Carnoustie Golf Links), at Roxburghe House, a dearly beloved mum to Gillien and Lyndsay, mother-in-law to Scott and Brian and devoted gran to Molly, Ben, Sam and Luke. A celebration of Nan's life will be held at Selwood Funeral Directors, Carnoustie, on Thursday, February 5, at 12 noon, to which all friends and family are respectfully invited.
