Staff Spotlight: Abbie Robb 🌟

We are delighted to introduce Abbie Robb, one of our newest carers who joined us around four months ago. Abbie brings valuable experience from previous roles in both the care sector and customer-facing jobs, including retail, a chip shop, and an ice cream shop. Her friendly nature and enthusiasm have made her a wonderful addition to our team.

We continue to work closely with Rise, who run interactive physical activity sessions for our residents. These sessions are designed not only to promote movement, but also to support mental stimulation and encourage social connections.

Whether seated or standing, all residents are supported to take part. The sessions often include a mix of gentle games, competitions, and reminiscence activities. It’s been wonderful to see residents learning new skills and having a laugh together, and we’re proud to offer a programme that is widely recognised for its quality and inclusiveness.

Our Hawaiian Party was a fantastic success! Residents embraced the theme by dressing up in colourful leis and floral props, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Many joined in on the dancing, filling the room with laughter and joyful energy. It was a wonderful way for everyone to come together and enjoy the spirit of aloha.
