“A 24hrs Automated Prescription Collection Facility!”

“CAN’T GET TO THE PHARMACY DURING OPENING HOURS??
…then this FREE service may be your solution!!
Over the past 3 years we have well over 2000 customers now benefiting from our Medpoint Dispensary!

*Register with Ashludie for this service
*We dispense your prescription
*We send an 8 digit code to your mobile
*Collect from Medpoint at your own convenience without the need to queue or wait!

✳️Collecting Instructions:
Follow the information on the Medpoint facility display screen which will assist you throughout this simple collection process.

*Press on any button to start.
*Then enter the 8 digit pin number that was sent to you on your mobile.
*Your prescription shall be dispensed at the bottom, just push the door.
✳️Remember you have 30 secs to retrieve your prescription from behind the door.
Please make sure to check to the left and right side as your prescription may not necessarily be in the middle depending on where it has been dropped from.
Note: Any issues and you fail to collect it, then no worries….
We are notified if you have had any problems, and after a reset, we shall forward you another code.

◾️Note: Controlled Drugs & Refridgerated Items are excluded from this service!

We have been offering this popular service to your local area over the past 4 years and once we collect & receive your prescription we dispense it on the same day!!

Once it’s dispensed you can either come and collect it in person OR we offer a delivery service to your door for a £4 charge.

Ashludie also have parking and have a 24hrs dispensing machine where you can even collect it out of hours!!

Their free peer-to-peer talking groups are there for any man 18+ who needs a safe, non-judgemental space to talk.

They run every Monday 7-9PM
(excluding bank holidays).
Why not go along and give them a go?
There are 3 Andys Man Club Dundee but they are all over the country in several locations too!

💚Adult Save a Life - Tuesday 11 November

Would you like to learn basic life saving skills, CPR and how to operate a defibrillator??

As a Community Outreach Instructor for RLSS UK, Lynn is running a FREE two-hour training session in basic life support for members of the public.
The session will be held in Carnoustie from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Being able to perform emergency life support, a set of actions needed to keep someone alive until professional help arrives, gives a casualty the best possible chance of survival.

When someone has a cardiac arrest, the clock starts ticking.
Every minute that passes without CPR and defibrillation reduces the chances of survival by up to 10%.

Courses are free-of-charge and no medical knowledge is required in order to undertake one.
It only takes two hours to learn the skills which may save a life and it is very likely that the person you help may be a family member or someone close to you.

The session covers:

• Caring for an unconscious person who is breathing

• Caring for an unconscious person who is not breathing and performing CPR

• Choking

• Drowning

• How to use a defibrillator

Such a fun last day and also some yummy platters freshly made by Bowmans Coffee House were much enjoyed by all!

Also just wanted to say on behalf of Jeannie how much she really appreciated all the lovely comments from everyone on the previous post, she genuinely felt the love🤗

Poppies and collection cans are now in both our Pharmacies until 12th November, where you can either donate cash or by using the QR code that is displayed on the Poppy box.

These Eco-Friendly Poppies were handmade by disabled Veterans at a factory in Edinburgh.

Our popular 24hrs Medpoint Collection Dispenser is at maximum capacity!!!
Please collect ASAP from the Medpoint.

Due to the Medpoints increasing popularity, you may be aware that we are occasionally having to post these reminders.

In order for the Medpoint to be beneficial to our customers, we require that you collect your prescription within 48HRS of the txt we send out but more ideally within 24hrs would be much appreciated!
*Please note that if your circumstances change (for example illness or being on holiday) and it prevents you from collecting your item, that you could possibly contact and inform us.

Thanks to all customers that do adhere to this and a kind reminder to remember that when you don’t, consider that it has a knock on effect for future customers if we run out of space!
