Why limit yourself to one therapist when you can have two?!

Admittedly, this is on our Zero Strain Reflex course where there are plenty of therapists on hand but honestly, if you have the chance to experience receiving Touch from two therapists simultaneously, it's definitely worth a try.

Change of pace today in the training room: a day of MOVING MINDFULNESS. We integrate these exercises into our Massage training (for what is Massage if not moving mindfully?) but they're too good to keep to ourselves - which is what today is all about!

Looking forward to welcoming today's group for a day of learning, sharing, unwinding and more. A mini retreat, even. Fab. 🥰

Team work makes the dream work 🥰

💗 Earlier in the year I had a couple of therapists ask about our Zero Strain REFLEX course
💗 Easily persuaded (I *love* this treatment) this weekend sees the course taking place
💗 The student manual photos needed updating - alas the professional shoot I organised got cancelled last minute BUT the fabulous Anita Mehrez + Tish Masters ( / Masters Massage : Healing Touch ) stepped in and we got some fantastic shots (isn't Tish's foot BEAUTIFUL?!)

SUPPORT is deeply embedded in our foundations and we love it: giving, receiving, all ways round! See those of you on this weekend's course SOOOOON!

Happy Humans - and with good reason!

Erika at left (.fi / Massage ) has just completed her THIRD instructor training meaning as well as our 1-day Dynamics of Depth and 3-day Zero Strain Massage courses, she can now offer our awesome 3-day Therapeutic Communication Tools course. AWESOME!

Truly a pioneer, Erika was the very first person using the 4Elements approach in her native Finland. She's now taking her passion to fellow therapists as an instructor. And is our VERY FIRST instructor ever to offer Therapeutic Communication Tools!

"Since the Therapeutic Communication Tools course is much more theory-based than the other courses I’ve taken or taught, I felt a lot more nervous going into the instructor training. Teaching the material in front of Tigger during the instructor training felt daunting at first, but she created a space where it felt okay to try, stumble and grow.

Reflecting on my last client this evening.

He’d struggled this week, stressed, feeling uncertain, unable to do much due to waiting for phone calls, and sore from sitting around waiting.

He wanted to feel happy and positive, tall and loose, with a clear head.

He opted for an Air treatment and wanted to stay face down throughout. An Air treatment is very light, very slow with moments where I might hang out in one place, gently moving slowly in and out of the top layers of the tissues.

Afterwards, as he walked around to complete the treatment he noticed that he felt that he had let everything go. He had a clear head and felt focused. He was smiling and looked happier.

Every treatment is tailored to you on the day.

You *haven't* been spending the weekend getting outstanding therapeutic Touch from *two* outstanding therapists? Shame! We have here 😍

This weekend we're in the thick of our *Therapeutic Communication Tools for Bodyworkers* course but in between all the communication models and custom developed tools for the treatment room, putting it into action and doing some touch is essential too.

Hope you can get even a little inkling of this gorgeous touch, wherever you are.

Zero Strain Massage hits Finland!

Instructor, Erika Louhivuori of .fi / Beyond Massage, has been flying the 4Elements flag in Finland for several years now. However, having recently trained as a licenced 4ELements instructor she's now spreading this awesome approach to others in Finland too! (Heidi & Oona, pictured).

Oona said: "A wonderfully mind-opening 3-day course. The teachings were explained with such clarity and divided into digestible parts, making it easy to absorb and integrate into muscle memory through hands-on practice. At times, I felt overwhelmed with excitement and worried I hadn’t retained anything, but after a good night’s sleep I realized I had learned so many new approaches — not only
for treating others, but also for self-care. I would warmly recommend this course to anyone who wants to take care of themselves and create beautiful healing moments for their clients throughout their career. A touch later than usual: please join me in congratulating this lovely bunch of humans for completing their TOUCH FOR RESILIENCE training last weekend!

The delay was mainly caused by the volunteering I've been doing at the wonderful / Wigtown Book Festival but getting to come back to this photo and realise I hadn't yet shared it with the world was an utter delight. They all worked so beautifully, collaborating to make a rich and friendly learning environment. Taking everything they learned back to their communities and clinics makes it even more exciting!
