Please save the date MONDAY 25th April 6-7:30pm

We will be holding our next Primary Care Network PPG (patient participation group) meeting at Adapt's Community Cafe's meeting room on Burn Lane in Hexham.

Further details will follow in a few weeks, but we hope to spend some time looking at the Terms of Reference for the group, and the aspirations of the PPG moving forward.

All patients within West Northumberland PCN's area are welcome to attend

Therefore all phones are off, no heating 🥶 or hot water. If you need anything please call stamfordham surgery. Reception will be open at Scot’s gap for the next couple of hours for those who need to collect medication.

NATIONAL BLOOD BOTTLE SHORTAGE
We have been notified that there is a National shortage of the blood test bottles used locally. These are sourced and supplied to us by NHS England.

We have received instructions from NHSE that we must only undertake urgent blood tests until at least 17th September. This affects both GP surgeries and hospitals. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this as a practice. The supply situation is not one we have any control over.

If you have an appointment for a blood test in the next week or so, please keep your appointment unless you are notified otherwise.

This is a situation beyond our control and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
