This afternoon, I led a bereavement carol service at Graham J. Sullivan Funeral Directors. It was so palpable how people’s grief is heightened during this journey towards Christmas. Thank you to every person who attended and allowed me to be part of your journey. There was something so beautiful also in every persons response to our reflections on Jesus being our light in the pain of darkness. I felt very moved being with each of you as you lit each candle, observing the brightness of their collective light and reminding us of Hope that comes from our faith in the promise of eternal life.

Please continue that hope throughout this season. Find peace in faith. Recall the joy of your memories. Love was born for us at Christmas; Love being the Light of the World: Jesus Christ.

🎄 Our Christmas Memorial Tree is Here 🎄

Throughout December, we invite you to visit our branch and place a heartfelt message on our Memorial Tree in memory of your loved ones. This is open to EVERYONE, and writing a message can be a comforting way to say something special to those you miss.

🌱 Each tag is made from wildflower seed paper, and next year, we’ll plant them in our grounds so their memory continues to bloom.

📅 The tree is available Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

✉️ If you can’t visit us in person, simply send us your message, and we’ll write a tag on your behalf.

Let’s come together to remember and celebrate those who hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️
