I know I'll not be alone with 2025 not going the way I'd hoped with my weight loss but that doesn't mean 2026 has to be the same... so I was up bright and early this morning to join a group as a brand new member and then straight to Iceland for a stock-up!🏃‍♂️

⭐ FEEL REAL GOOD IN 2026 ⭐

We are achieving amazing things every single week at our Coltness and New Stevenston Slimming World groups and with all the exciting updates to our eating plan, our activity support programme and our glowed-up group format, 2026 is shaping up to be the best one yet!✌️

In 2025 we saw 7045lbs lost (that's over 500st/3000kgs!🤯), over 60 members achieve their dream Target weight🎯 and over 70 members achieve their Club10 award - losing 10% of their start weight and celebrating the fantastic health benefits it brings!🤍

🎄 A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

Hope everyone had a brilliant day yesterday, we certainly did and we didn't even get out of our pyjamas, it was fab!🥰 We didn't have a traditional Christmas dinner yesterday and we missed it, but luckily we had a Festive Feast from our most recent Slimming World Kitchen box waiting for us tonight!🤤

We spruced it up with some cranberry sauce, pigs in blankets and stuffing (it is Christmas after all!😉) and it was absolutely amazing - now bring me the cheeseboard!🧀😍

Groups are running as normal next week, and I can't wait to start gifting our brand new Essentially Slimming World books to our members as we start to focus on 2026 - just call me Santa Claus!🎅

It might have been another crazy week for me but if I can't control all the crazy things going on in life, the one thing I can control is my Food Optimising choices and Slimming World Kitchen has been a life-saver yet again!👌

⭐ BACK IN BUSINESS ⭐

Ok so the last few months have not been the best, so much so that I landed in hospital for 3 days last week which was absolutely terrifying and a real reality check - so I took a week off, rested and recharged and while I'm not quite back to my best I'm a million times better than I was!🤞🤍

Slimming World Kitchen has been a real life saver since coming home! It's taken the thought and stress out of supermarket shopping & dinners to have everything I need to make some amazing Free Food recipes delivered to the door - tonight it's this smoky pulled pork carnitas bowl with sweet potato and it's absolutely sensational!🤤

Loving that while I'm on the road to recovery I'm able to keep my Food Optimising firmly on track - even managed to sneak some avocado in there in anticipation of our new Healthy Fats choices coming in January😉👌

Nothing says you're home your holidays like forgetting to buy milk on the way home, a line full of washing and a home cooked meal!😋

We've got one night before Stuart's away to Head Office for the week so wanted to make sure tonight's dinner was extra special and planned one of our absolute fabs - a fakeaway nandos!😍

Peri-peri spiced chicken breast, air-fried chips, spicy rice, salad and the best ever charred spring onion dip and corn with lime & parmesan (a game changer!🤤) There's a few slices of grilled halloumi hiding in there somewhere too🤣

⭐ ONE FOR THE ROAD ⭐

Trying to tempt out the sun for our last rooftop cocktail in Tenerife and while it was a little cloudy, I've still burnt my face to a wee crisp as usual!🙃

It's been the perfect week of relaxation and just what we needed after a pretty manic few months, and even though we're headed home I can't wait to get back in to group on Monday and Tuesday!❤️

Feeling very proud of us that we also managed to stick as close to Food Optimising as possible where we could, looked out for Free Food on menus and used just a little flexibility where we wanted it (mainly on an Aperol Spritz🤣). Over and out Tenerife, it's been a blast!✌️
