Change is a foot, I’ve renamed my page name, to match my new website - www.reikiwithkatyanne.co.uk

(Taking baby steps creating my website through Wordpress. Currently a few hours work is taking a few weeks lol. We live and learn. This is the year I begin to understand and get SEO to work for me )

A Massage Therapist works with the physical body. Rubbing and kneading the body to ease pain and tension. The therapist will use gentle or strong muscle manipulation techniques. Reiki does not involve any muscle manipulation. Making it suitable for almost everyone.

It’s has been a while since I have posted on here. I’d taken some personal time following a bereavement in my family.
Monday would have been my father’s 73rd birthday just over 2 months since his passing.
I still find it strange that time can warp and make 2 months feel like an instant and a lifetime all at once. I know this shouldn’t surprise me because at an energetic level time is not linear.
I had planned to connect more with my creative roots over the Summer. I love singing and enjoy writing. What I hadn’t planned for was the way in which my creativity would be put to use.

I've enjoyed using Reiki for myself over the last couple of months. As always very comforting and healing. I've been loving my Reiki Epsom Baths the most.

I'm excited to be sharing information about my up and coming mid-week 1st Degree Reiki course. As well as covering all my usual class content, this course is tailored to include additional information about the benefits of Reiki when used with animals. In addition to my usual content this course will look at animal chakras and reiki options for you to use with them. Once permission is obtained.
First Degree Reiki
The first degree level will attune you directly to Reiki (universal life force energy). The main focus of first degree Reiki is empowerment – closely linked to physical healing and self-healing. After being attuned to Reiki you can offer yourself Reiki anytime it is required. Helping you to become your authentic healthy self. After completing the course, you will also be able to share Reiki with your loved ones as well as with nature.
The course runs over two days and covers:
• a brief history of Reiki
• placement/attunement to Usui/Holly Fire® III Reiki
• Japanese reiki techniques
You will receive:
• guided meditations including, a Holy Love experience,
• self-treatment,
• treatment of others,
• practice,
• sharing,
• manual,
• certificate,
• questions and answers.

After completing the course, you will be able to easily make use of your Reiki healing ability, and this ability will remain with you for your lifetime. Giving you endless opportunities to work with Reiki energy. The more often you work with Reiki energy the more of its wonders you will discover.

It's lovely to be able to open my doors once more.

I'm also delighted to be able to run my First and Second degree training courses again. There are still limited spaces available if you watch to catch my next training days in May and June.

Since the last time I was open for in person session as few things have changed. My treatment room has moved and I have completed my CHNC Registration as a Reiki practitioner.

I'm also very excited to be able to offer Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki Training for Reiki master students. It truly has such a beautiful compassionate energy - class dates to follow.

I will be following all Scottish Government requirements with regards Covid-19 restrictions.
