Retirement! 😭
After 16 incredible years serving our community, we’re saying a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful pharmacists Jim and his wife Jenny as they retire from Bankton pharmacy and Wallyford pharmacy.

Their kindness, dedication, and care have touched so many lives over the years. Whether it was offering expert advice, a reassuring smile, or going the extra mile for every customer, they’ve truly been at the heart of our community.

Thank you for everything you’ve done — you will be greatly missed, but we wish you all the very best in this next chapter. Enjoy a well-earned retirement! From the girls at Bankton and Wallyford.

As we approach the festive season, we kindly remind all our patients to order your prescriptions in plenty of time to make sure you have everything you need over Christmas and New Year. Please remember to only order what you genuinely need so we can support everyone in our community.

📅 Holiday Closure Dates
Our pharmacy will be closed on:
✨ 25th December (Christmas Day)
✨ 26th December (Boxing Day)
✨ 1st January (New Year’s Day)
✨ 2nd January

Please plan ahead to avoid running out of essential medication during these dates.

Get your crayons, pencils, and markers ready — it’s time to get spooky and creative! 🖍️✨

We’re hosting a Halloween Colouring-In Competition for all our little artists!
Everyone who returns a completed entry will receive a bag of sweets 🍬, and there will be special prizes 🎁 for the winners in each age category!

📅 Winners announced: Thursday, 30th October

👻 Pick up your colouring sheet from the front desk at the pharmacy, and return it by 29th of October.

📢 Important information

Please note we will be closed on Monday the 15th of September for the bank holiday. Please ensure your prescription has been ordered in plenty of time.

The GP practices will also be closed. Should you need any medical assistance please contact NHS 24 or in an emergency 999.

We will be open again on the 16th of September usual opening hours.

⭐ Wallyford gala 2025 ⭐

I just want to say, it was an absolute honour to be asked to be one of the judges for this year's gala. I loved seeing all the beautifully decorated houses and amazing costumes. The gala court looked spectacular.

The effort from the committee and community is nothing short of outstanding. It's wonderful to see everyone come together.

I hope everyone has a lovely day (I hope the weather gets better!)
