It is with heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Jamie, on 7th December 2025, at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Jamie was a cherished son, brother, dad, step-dad, nephew, uncle, cousin and a good friend to many, he will be so very sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A funeral service will be held at East Lothian Crematorium on Monday 29th December at 3pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Formal attire not necessary, please come comfortably dressed. Family flowers only please, donations can be made on retiral for LEAP(Lothians and Edinburgh Abstinence Programme). After the service, all are welcome to join the family at Wallyford Club for refreshments and to continue to share memories of Jamie.

It is with heavy hearts the family announce that Helen passed away on 9th December 2025 at the Western General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Helen, beloved wife of the late Charlie, devoted mum to Shelley and Chris, loving grandma to Reece and Aila, dear mother-in-law to Christine and a good friend to many. A celebration of Helen’s life will take place at East Lothian Crematorium, on Tuesday 30th December at 11am, to which all family and friends are welcome. The family request that you wear a splash of colour to honour Helens love of all things vibrant. In lieu of flowers the family are holding a retiral collection for Ward 8 at the Western General Hospital where Helen was so very well cared for. After the service, you are invited to join them at Musselburgh Rugby Club for refreshments and to continue to celebrate Helen’s life.

Dean passed away suddenly, at The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on Friday 5th December 2025 aged 59 years, much loved son of the late Terrance, loving husband to Jackie, much loved dad to Robbie and Claire, adored grandad to Harley, Lee, River, Riley, Frankie and Ellis. Stepdad to Michael and Paul. Loved brother to Janine, Kim and Sean.
A celebration of Dean’s life will take place on Tuesday 23rd December at 10am at Dalkeith Funeral Parlour thereafter to Harvieston Cemetery, Gorebridge. To which everyone is welcome.

Nancy, beloved wife of the late James B Munro and Andrew Curran, dearly loved mum of Kenny and Gordon, cherished grandmother of Rosie and Frances, mother-in law to Jane and sister to Audrey. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at Seafield Crematorium on Wednesday 17th December at 1pm to which all family and friends are respectfully invited.

November 2025 at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.
Beloved husband of Sheila (Cecilia), much loved dad to Catherine, May, Joanne and Veronica, father-in law to Clark, Douglas, Graeme and George. Adored grandad to Claire, Rachael, Shannon, Lauren, Scott, Amy and Clark, and great grandad to Myla-Rose and Olivia.
A requiem mass will take place at Our Lady of Loretto and St. Michael RC Church, Newbigging, Musselburgh at 10am on Tuesday 16th December. Thereafter a committal service to Seafield Crematorium at 12pm to which all are welcome.
John will be received into church on Monday 15th December at 4pm.
