The waters of life are not always so still and serene.
You know that only too well.
Sometimes it feels like we are barely clinging on to our own version of reality when fear comes bounding in and loosens our grip even further.

But I’m here to tell you, my love, that you CAN let go.
Even just for a moment. You can unclench your tight fingers, gripping desperately onto what feels familiar and safe and rather than sinking, you may just float.

Let the storms of this life shape you.
Find a new rhythm.

And if the waves come crashing in or the wind begins to push you under, then let me be your ropes.
Let me help you back to the surface. Back to what you know.
Together, we can release the old wood and make repairs so that you may begin to float gently on the shores once again and find peace. You only need to reach one hand out and know that you are never alone.

Today’s storm took me by surprise. When I left, the skies were relatively clear so I didn’t adorn any waterproofs and as the heavens opened, I felt something strange within me…freedom.
I opened my arms to the sky, lifted my chin to the treetops and smiled.
This past supermoon in my own sign bought me a sense of inner turmoil…there was a lingering discomfort and it turns out that rainfall is all I needed to wash me clean, dampen the Earth and lift my spirits.
Magic exists when you open your heart and embrace the rhythms of this wonderful Earth.

The largest and brightest full moon of the year, this moon is also known as the Beaver moon; as we make final preparations for Winter & hibernation with the strength of dams & fur (or now, with blankets, heartier meals & a cosiness). This powerful moon ignites our need for grounding - using Mother Nature as our guide as we illuminate what we have created throughout the year and ready ourselves for release in order to find peace, stability and rest during these final, colder months. It calls for our wild side to rise up, calling in our instinctual feminine side and the nurturing, maternal aspects of our being to take root and shine through; especially in relation to ourselves. Self care is key here in order to catalyse personal transformation and feel empowered.
